A LARP group was meeting when we went on Saturday. Even kids as young as 9/10 looking were having fun. Just beware tree ants , human feces by horseshoe pits(guess they couldn't walk across field), and hoverwheeled device riders speeding along trails.
How lucky locals are to have this free swimming spot! My kids love it . We go weekly in the summer. No dogs allowed by the swimming area but yet I'm always seeing people let their dogs jumping and barking around little kids swimming and it makes me so angry.
Great park and picnic area. Found best time to go with dog is before noon. Less people but for a good mix of people, going here is always a good vibe! Lots of nature here...the water area is very popular and a great place to cool off in the waters. Several areas for the children to play as well, outside of the beach area. Across the street park extends and has a really Great Tree 🌳 there nearby that playground.
Went here to cool off in the lake with my family during the weekday. Even with my knee injury, it was somewhat easy to get to the water. The beach was small but with my large family and about 3 other families already there it did not seem crowded. The swimming area is very kid friendly. We had ages ranging from 3-17 years old playing in the water. The deep area of the water seemed to be blocked by the dock which made it easier to watch the younger kids. My wife enjoyed diving off the dock. Will definitely come back again.
This is a really nice park! There are 2 playgrounds, one is bigger and more for older kids, and the other is small and for ages 2-5. The water is warm and there's lot of room for people of all ages to swim! You can jump off the dock or wade by the shore. They even have lifejackets available to borrow.
Warm water this time of year, nice swimming area and picnic area on grass, some in the shade. Lake wasn't too crowded with key skis and motorboats in the morning, but was getting busier as the day went on.
Small, scrappy little picnic-and-trails park with a little beach in Black Lake. Across the street from the bigger playing fields. Looks like popular place to reserve covered spots for parties, including a small cabin.
This seems to be one of the few public parks with lakefront along Black Lake. Sadly, the park could use some maintenance; there is a bunch of invasive English ivy. The park is also fairly small.

My family chose this park for an outing and we were not disappointed. The view was beautiful, it wasn't really busy at all, and the playground and bathrooms were clean! Walking the boardwalk was very refreshing. It's dog friendly as long as they're l
What a majestic and beautiful rainforest! The loop trail was 1.4 miles and extremely easy. Multiple dogs with owners on the path, and everyone was extremely friendly. I saw a lot of folks walking or running with headphones, but if itâs your first t
Beautiful park with restrooms, large grass fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, playground and walking trail on the perimeter. Ample parking with two lots on opposite sides of the park. Hopefully the kids zip line gets fixed soon.
In the last few days we've walked most of the trails at least once, since we are anchored right off the beach (it's been rainy but gorgeous). The whole park is beautifully maintained, with nice trails that have steps in the steep sections. The walkin
Great addition to the park a few years ago. Covered area with tables and cement "bench" around the majority of the circumference. Nice option for kids and parents who don't want to go to Wild Waves or other expensive water parks, but still can enjoy

I love exploring places that are hyper local to us. We decided to stop and watch people fish and just run out a little bit of energy. This is a great local access for the Chehalis Western trailhead bike path as well. Plenty of parking and a couple of

Fuzzzy caterpillars roam the fields at this easy going park.
My daughter and I came across this caterpillar while on our walk around the parks little trail that loops around the park.
As for the park itself, very nicely kept and
You can say a lot and do a lot at this park it is huge . It seems like a downtown park with the malls and shops and rows or upscale apartments kinning the entrance road to one side of the park. The other side of the park is an entrance that you got
