Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts - Performing arts theater in Olympia - 2011 Mottman Rd SW, USA

It's a beautiful, clean, very modern theater. The seating has great rise, offering excellent views of the stage. There is an elevator to the theatre entrance offering access to people needing this. Downsides: The theatre doesn't have much "character" as it seems very new. I didn't see restroom facilities on the same floor as the theater's seating entry. If there had been an intermission, hundreds of us would have needed to descend the staircase to use the facilities. Not optimal design for older people. I guess it was designed for young able-bodied students, not their grandparents... hehe...

Attended a firefighter and EMT class graduation here. The facility was beautiful, seating was comfortable and well spaced. The o ly problem was the microphone seemed to need recalibration. Would have been 5 stars if the sound tech was paying attention.

Two choirs with piano and one had a band! Music was good. Some forgiven languages. Only understood John Lennon's Iemagin's words! Eleanor

Nice venue. I don't know if sound technician comes with rental, or you provide your own, but somebody had a tin ear.

Stopped by to watch the premiere of the Waking Bear video Bigfoot. It was a great short film, loved the emotive feel created by the actor portraying the title creature. I would recommend this video for anyone who has ever felt the angst of not being loved, or being in the in crowd. The facility was good, clean and well kept. I've been to theatrical performances there in the past, most recently Godspell a couple of years ago.

Good acoustics, comfortable seats and a great view from anywhere.

Great venue, well lit with an elevator for those needing it. Only concern is handicap parking is far away otherwise a good site for shows.

Very cool place to watch a show. The staff were excellent and there wasn't a bad seat in the whole venue. Saw some Beethoven.
