We always look for out of the way places to have a beer and some good food. The atmosphere was that of a great neighborhood bar and the burgers ( and patty melt) were excellent! We’re so glad we stumbled onto this fun bar. It’s pretty easy to find and well worth the side trip.
It is a pub so I ordered to go but Fish Fry was very good! Not greasy. It's very fluffy and crunchy great serving size...also got the sampler platter, and it was very good.
UPDATE: 12/8/2023 I don't know what happened but we got fish dinners today and the fish was so gross. It was greasy. Cole slaw was runny and they gave us stale rolls. The sampler was the same greasy. The chicken fingers were burned but raw in the inside? They gave us like 10 frys not even a handful. The oil in the fryer needs to be changed. Food taste like old grease. It was nice while it lasted but we won't be getting food from here again
Chicken wings, French fries and my 89 yr. young mother enjoys her baked potato. Food cooked perfectly. My old stomping grounds. Nice atmosphere. All of their food is Delish.
Decent dive bar. The wings are really good. Has a pool table and darts. Clientele depends on the day. On street parking and some parking behind bar. Nice patio in the summer.
We stopped here after a busy day of travel and weren't sure what to expect. We both had their burger special and it did not disappoint! The service was a little slow and it was more of a bar atmosphere but we noticed outdoor seating after we had already eaten. It definitely was a local favorite and was fairly busy for a Wednesday night. Can't beat the prices and we may even go back to try something else while we are visiting here in Buffalo.
We had chicken wings and French fries. The wings were cooked crispy skin without being overcooked. They were nice size and juicy. We will be back,
