This was such a cool gem to discover and explore. I had never learned about this dam or the technology used to create it in school, so learning about this now was so cool! It is an incredible modern marvel and technological achievement! I definitely look forward to sharing this with more family and friends when we go for another visit.
Awesome and knowledgeable staff as well as a clean and comfortable facility. Definitely recommend!
Trails are very well maintained and clearly marked. Trails are shared with hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrian. Dogs are welcome except hiking on the Dam. It took me 2.5 hours to hike down Kelly ridge and back up to the Visitors Center via Bidwell Canyon trail, and then down to the Dam and back. There are some steep areas that will have you breathing hard going up, but nothing too strenuous. The trails are canopied in most areas by trees so this is a good hike if you want to stay out of the sun. Be on the lookout for wildlife in the area. Lots of great birdwatching, and I saw some deer too while I was there.
Great place to ride 🐴 Lots of trails, horse campground. Lots of shallow water crossing. So much fun! Large gravel parking lot.
Beautiful day and evening, wonderful vista's with easy walking paths for elder family members to get out.
If you like nature walks, I highly recommend you visit and go on the trails. You'll be indulge by the beauty of it. Highly recommend visiting during winter and spring.
This is a very nice rest stop that includes some parking for both small cars/trucks and RVs, bathrooms and a small 1/4 mile trail to the vista point that loops back to the parking lot. It is paved and easy to walk on, a nice break to stretch your legs after driving too much. It was a bit cooler, so maybe bring a light sweater.
For some reason it was barricaded off and access to the lookout tower was "not allowed." I think DWR doesn't want people to see the lake full, so it was closed for "Safety."
I got photos for everyone though.😎
A hike with friends and family to enjoy clean, beautiful, and Oroville Dam View. Peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing to even just enjoy by yourself. Restrooms at the start of the hike.

Outstanding public display of holiday cheer. Very welcoming with areas to sit and heat provided. There is free selfies, so many displays, small hills for the children to slide, as well as paid inflatableâs and a larger sledding area. So cool and so
I get excited when I see that this place is open. I always try to stop on my home.
Friendly staff and some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. It's flavorful while not being super salty.
Their prices are very affordable (tacos are $2!).

Awesome displays. Amazed on array of tools, cleanliness, research including date and inventors names. The detailed design of each panel looked as lovely as quilt patterns. I brought my friend also a fan of tools. He was impressed. Thank you for your
