Nice lake to take a walk or picnic. Fishing 🎣 is allowed. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND FOR SWIMMING! Also there is a sledding hill for winter! 💚💯💯
Kelly Park located off Lapeer Road west of Genesee Road in Burton offers many scenic views and things to do. Many people come to walk on the nature trail, fish, picnic, swim or in the winter..,sledding so, there is a lot to do in this little park. There is a pavilion that can be rented. I enjoy coming to see the nature and sunsets, but also people launch their model motor boats and race them on the lake. My only complaint is that there is a lot of trash that people go not pick up after themselves. This evening I also noticed that someone has let their Peking ducks loose in this lake. It’s a shame that this park is next to the highway.
A Really beautiful relaxing walk. Its very clean here so casual and chill.
The park was so peaceful the restrooms were clean the children even rolled from the top of the hill down they had a ball
It’s kinda surprising to me that my visit was the first time I’ve ever been to Kelly Lake. Overall it’s a nice, quiet little park with a couple of pavilions if you want a family get-together or kids birthday party. The walking trail is very short and typical of what you’d see on a trail in Mid-Michigan, some tree, a lake and a little bit of nature. The trail starts near the parking area and goes down to Genesee Rd, near the I-69 bridge and Genesee Christian Elementary School. On the other end, a wooden walkway goes over the lake/marsh and gives you the most scenic view in the park imo. There is a path on the other side of the lake that gives you nice views as you walk under the trees and is clearly taken care of, but it isn’t paved and you will have to watch you head for tree limbs. Overall it’s a nice little serene park that I enjoyed.
Family friendly place! Perfect for gatherings or just a quiet spot to take your mind off things!
It's a nice little lake you can either go on a walk, fish, or sit down and look at the scenery. My only complaint is that it's right next to the highway so it gets loud from the cars driving by but other than that it's just a nice park.
So beautiful and pieceful. I love going there when im depressed and i feed the birds. Feel like nothing matters. Its a great place. Just please put trash in its place.
Great low-key, woman friendly, bike and average Joe friendly bar! Excellent craft beer, the owner Doug is the nicest, and the bartenders are great. High quality craft beers that taste great. This is one of the only places I can go to by myself, a
I always see such beautiful things when I am visiting. Went for a nature trail walk today I believe it was #2 out of the 5 they are having and needless to say I had a blast! However, I did learn that in order to keep up with my elders I'm going to ha
I have never had Thai before. But tried it a couple weeks ago. I didn't realize it was like Chinese. But OMG am I glad I tried it. Thai fried rice with chicken was amazing, the flavor was perfect. And let's not talk about the BEST Crab Rangoon I have
Excellent service and good. I went here tonight for the first time. Extremely friendly staff and a ton of food that was quite good for a very good price. All white meat chicken and good ingredients. If you haven't been here before I definitely recomm
This place is a staple on Burton Michigan! A true cornerstone of the community! The new ownership has done a fantastic job. The food and drinks are Excellent!
This was our 1st time eating at that location. I thought it was cute inside. Our waitress was nice, and the food was good. I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich, with mashed potatoes and beef gravy. My bf ordered the shrimp platter, and they were goo
