KC Craft Ramen - Ramen restaurant in Overland Park - 6830 W 119th St, USA

The cashier was a bottleneck causing the line to be outside of the building. Door had to be kept open due to line when the restaurant was 99% empty. It will be very understandable if the store is truly overwhelmed. The cold wind draft created discomfort for many customers near the door. Suggest to enable payment via a kiosk/ app yet still be able to dine in to solve the bottleneck. Noodles were made from scratch. Ramen was authentic. The broth was rich and flavorful. Strongly recommend this restaurant for Ramen in KC! Overall solid 5-star!

What a pleasure this was! It was a freezing night and it was so nice to be able to slurp down some hot, brothy noodles. Both bowls were totally different and had a good ratio of noodles, broth and delicious garnish. Broth was rich and delicious. Dumplings were tasty too. Plump and crisp on the outside. Can't wait to go back. Wish it was closer to home!

Today was my first time trying KC Craft Ramen. My friend saw a food review on social media, and I knew I had to stop in. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! It is hands down one of the best ramen places I have been to. The food was amazing, and their homemade in-house noodles were perfect! The broth was so flavorful, and the meat was so tender. I went with two of my friends, and they loved it as well. They live locally and plan to visit often. I can’t forget to mention how great the service was from the moment we entered the door. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We ended up having the wonderful opportunity to talk to one of the owners Aki who was so warm and welcoming. She chatted with us for a bit and told us a little more about the restaurant. I relocated to Boston but visit home often. This will be a place I stop into each time I am home. I still can’t stop thinking about it! This is your sign to go check out KC Craft Ramen!!

Had to wait 2 hours to get a table, but it was worth it. We were sat out on the enclosed patio, which was still a little chilly, so we were offered fleece lined blankets. We got an order of fried gyoza & I had the Creamy Chicken Ramen. Delicious & soul warming.

Starting with delectable appetizers like fried dumplings and truffle edamame, KC Craft Ramen delighted our taste buds. The seasoned eggs in the spicy miso were exceptional, elevating the dish to new heights. A delightful journey of flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied. To sweeten the experience, they also threw in complementary epoxy chocolate sticks.

Excellent Japanese Ramen! Miso ramen was perfect. Staff was very friendly, food service fast. Your able to buy the plants and anime figurines! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy a piece of Japan in Overland Park.

A MUST! Everything here was incredible from the staff to the food to the decor. I recommend going when they open because the lines can get super long. You can join the queue online. If you’re within 5 km beware though because the timer on the queue is not accurate, I will be coming back because this place was so incredibly amazing.

I've had ramen a fair amount of places and this place is pretty decent, but not like amazing. The service however is excellent, and it's a fun atmosphere. We ordered the miso ramen and the KC black. Overall I think the miso ramen was better, and my girlfriend agrees. Funny story though I saw another customer in the restaurant toss his ramen like it was a salad 🥗 which I have never seen in my life which is hilarious 🤣.
