This place is a great value. Fresh fish, and the rice is great quality and not mushy which is surprisingly hard to find around here. Rolls are creative, well made and tasty. Best of all, not too much sauce which I really appreciate! It means they have confidence in their ingredients and technique. When we visited, there were only a few other parties, one chef and one server. Service was great, but not sure if they would hold up if it was busier. Regardless we really enjoyed Kazoku and will definitely be back.

Bite size cream cheese wontons...the BEST!!! Personally I don't like that extra dry crusty stuff. This is my daughter's favorite Sushi restaurant and she is a Sushi snob. My first time eating at restaurant and the staff/service were great. House sake good. I like how they've used & decorated the space (old strip mall space). Could use some acoustic adjustments as we could clearly hear staff in open kitchen area from our booth, which was furthest away, nothing bad said though 😉 It was decorated in pretty blues for Christmas 2023.

Best sushi in Minnesota! And the warm smile and kind heart of our waitress Samia made the experience all the better! She is so sweet, that my wife and I came back a second night just to have the wonderful opportunity to dine with her as our waitress. We ordered the "Simba Roll "...AMAZING!!!! 🥳🥳🥳

We had a great time at Kazoku. Outstanding food and sushi. The Calamari is a perfect starter. Chicken teriyaki was so good and large portion. Ask for Ashley. She is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent service and food. Beautiful presentation. Great wasabi. Well worth the visit. A little more expensive than some others but better quality.

What a wonderful find! First, the special rolls offered were truly unique and exciting - not the same rolls you see at what feels like every other sushi place. Second, they were great! The fish was nice and firm and tasty - no mushiness - and the slices were cut thick. Besides that, the atmosphere were fun and the service was exceptional. Our toddler got his bowl of rice right away and got a mochi for free. Would 100% recommend, a fantastic sushi location. If we lived closer, we’d be regulars - as is, we’ll go out of our way to come back again.

We love Kazoku. They have quality sushi and the BEST homemade soy sauce. They’re specialty rolls are pretty expensive but that’s the thing you want to order when you’re there. Their ramen is good as well. In the summer, we enjoy sitting outside. It’s just plastic picnic tables so not really “vibes” but it’s still a great time. Last time we went, they gave our whole group free miso soup. Servers are always super kind and helpful.

The food was fantastic! It's a little pricier than other Japanese in the area, but worth it. You are paying for quality and authenticity. The ramen is well worth it, as you get a large amount of food, and the sushi was amazing. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone, and I'll be eating there again!
