Kay Jay's Irish Pub - Cocktail bar in Shelby Township - 5491 Auburn Rd, USA

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The new decor and enlarged space were welcome and welcoming. We dined unfashionably early as a lot of us seniors are wont to do, and there were several tables of seniors. The daily specials and on tap choices were fine. Our server was exceptional. Our only complaint is that it was very noisy, but then, that's what we've come to expect from a sports bar. We will likely return and look forward to trying other specials.

Been here 3 times. Beer prices are awesome so will come back for sure. Food and service at the tables are good so will come back for that. Service at the bar isn't good. If you aren't a regular good luck. I've tipped good and still get the look. They are not friendly at all (at the bar). Please talk to them about that.

My wife and I sat down at the bar around 6:00 last night, we waited for someone to wait on us and we waited and we waited. It was the worst we walk out. So we went down the street to eat, where we had better service.

I brought my aunt up here for her b-day. We got a pizza. Prior, I checked the Internet for photos of their pizza & reviews. There was none so I was going to have the pleasure, & I say that lightly, of being the first. The pizza was undercooked. The slice I had was still doughy. Service was good, though, so that saved the cook.

Jessica is by far the sweetest waitress ever. Looks can be very deceiving. I recommend getting the steak bites. The food hair is out of this world. Even if you just go for the food, it's so worth it. They're currently remodeling but still have plenty of room to enjoy a great time here.

$16.00 Ruban Sandwich at 2: 30 on a Monday. Small portion of dry corned beef, about a tablespoon dry suarcrawt. Inconsistent food quality.2 months ago on a Saturday night Ruban Sandwich was great. Never know what your going to get at this place

For a place that is continually advertising for cooks, the food is really good at a decent price. How does that happen? Please complete the remodel as the place has sort of lost it's "neighborhood bar" feel.

Absolutely love this place! The owner and staff have always been on top of their game. It's been a town favorite since I was young. The last few times I went there were renovations. I can't wait to see the finished product.
