Kavanaugh's Hilltop Bar & Grill - American restaurant in Rock Island - 1228 30th St, USA

This is a fun place! The outside patio is nice and they have a cool area for bands to play also. The bartender was very friendly and service was good! The inside atmosphere needs some help tho. Otherwise, this is a good place to stop and have a quick drink, or hangout with a few friends.

Breakfast food was fantastic. I got the Spicy Chicken Biscuits. Service was great. I took one star off of atmosphere because I couldn’t do touch tunes and we were forced to listen to country music which is honestly torturous when you’re hungover and enjoy music that doesn’t suck.

Stopped in to have lunch. BBQ Chris is now the food truck kitchen chef. I had the pulled pork sandwich. Fantastic! Loved the fries also! I don't know if they are freah cut but they sure tasted like it. If younget a chance, stop by. It will be well worth it!

Nothing like it once was. COVID, aging regulars and no Senior K. Still though best prices on beer and drinks in RI.

This is one of the best kept secrets. Chevin's burgers are to die for. I don't normally visit Kavanaughs however his burgers will bring me back time and time again.

(Brunch) Food was incredibly good. Flavorful, interesting menu items. Whole table raved.

Whoa!! Had this smoked turkey aioli...so good I nearly cried.

I went to see Blues Rock-It who I hadn't seen before. I had also never been to Kavanaugh's. I love both the band and the place. I'm not sure about the atmosphere. It was definitely under construction. To get it in, I walked through a framed out wall. There were a variety of tables and chairs, so a bit of church basement/garage kitsch. The service, however, was terrific. Friendly and real. Blues Rock-It is a new favorite. I'll definitely be back.
