Sure, prices are slightly lower as people have mentioned, but you get what you pay for! Why is that we have outages every 1-2 weeks, yet WE Energies across the street is always up? 18 years down the street and we had 2 outages, I've been here 2 years and the power is completely unstable! Be sure anything you care about has good surge protection! I have a high-end theater and power conditioner, for the first time ever I repeatedly get surge alerts since I've moved here. Since K.U. hasn't gotten back to me, I'm sitting in the dark at 90+ degrees as I'm writing this. I tried to report an outage and the page shows no outages and won't let me report it saying "technical difficulties"

YOU NEED BETTER SYSTEMS IN PLACE FOR WHEN POWER GOES OUT! You have no emergency line, no body you can call and get info from, no estimated time it'll be back on. NOTHING. So now we are sitting here when it's 20 degrees in the middle of a snow storm, no heat and I have my child here! Yet when I walk outside our building is the only one without power! How does everyone around us have power except us??? DO BETTER KAUKAUNA UTILITIES! people have kids that would like at least a little bit of info on what's going on! Yall better be adjusting my bill thos month as well! And you can pay for my hotel if I gotta stay in one. How bout that?

Mucho kudos to this courageous little power company who have indured for decades providing pure clean hydropower to the city, now providing a park and EV charge stations to the Fox river community. The red building in the foreground is the newly refurbished hydro plant. These operational charge stations are likely some of a handful of truly hydropowered EV Charge stations in our whole nation. There are very few places in the world you can juice your Tesla, Bolt or leaf and drive on water power. Wow what a special place and company.

Wisconsin’s only hydro powered EV charge stations are powered by these guys. You will find 2 or 3 stage 2 chargepoint chargers in parking lot and nearby down town. Use your chargepoint card or app to get hydro juice from hydro plant within eyesight of chargers. Visit hydro park and learn of the history of hydro power from the fox river that flows north to Green Bay. A ways from 441 to downtown but worth the adventure.

I am grateful for KU willingness to work with me on being late. $1.60 late fee is a small price to pay to know I'm not going to have my power shut off. Also, we were surprised when a representative of KU stopped by our house with a Random Act of Kindness and brought a gift card JUST IN TIME for Christmas! God bless, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Have had Kaukauna Utilities for about 10 years now. In the past, I have never had to contact them other than to have our address changed. Today we came home to half our house without power...keep in mind it was 7pm on the Friday of Labor day weekend. I called the emergency line and they sent someone right out. We ended up having a short in the line to our house. They were very imformative and kept us in the loop as to what was happening. They had power back to the house within a few hours. They worked quickly and were very apologetic for the problem (like they have any control over an underground wire shorting out). Overall, they made a tricky situation very easy to deal with.

Kaukauna Utilities is HORRIBLE. I have lived in Kaukauna for many years and it used to be great, but not any more. The customer service staff is anything but friendly and helpful. They have an attitude like they are superior to their customers...YUCK! They need to realize that their customers pay their salary. They charge interest if your payment is a day late via snail mail and today the website doesn't work for payment. Constant increases so they can have nice, plush work spaces. I wish we had another option.

I called to see if I could have more time to pay on my bill. They said there was a 10 day grace period and since I'd be making the payment 5 days late, they said it would be fine. A day after I made the payment, they still charged me a late fee. When I called to ask about the grace period, the rep told me there's only a TWO day grace period?! I asked if the late fee could be waived considering misinformation, but they refused to waive it. Pretty sad considering I pay $400-$500 each month for a utility bill. Not a very friendly company to work with and it's unfortunate you can't believe what they tell you over the phone.
