TLDR: mom and pop shop serving food with a ton of great flavor! We ordered the loco moco and the kaua pork and both were amazing! The hamburger patty had a great char on it that added some depth of flavor, the pork was tender and just pulled apart, with great flavor. Definitely a taste of Hawaii in Seattle and the prices are super reasonable as well! Those two plates came out to around $23!

Good food, lots of it too. I found the spam on the musubi to be a bit thin, age not enough sauce, but the flavor was great. The Lawsi chicken was great and a lot of food for the money. It can be busy though, but that hopefully means they'll be around for a long time.

I always come here when I visit Seattle and I'm craving food from back home. My go to is the lawai crispy chicken. This time I got a little bit of everything. The laulau, Kalua pig and lomi salmon plate. As well as the lawai crispy chicken and the fried saimen. Each place comes with rice and mac salad as every plate should (only because that's the standard back home on the islands). Service was great, good is always yummy. Parking can be slim during busy times. And the wait can be little bit long but that just means the food is fresh and I'm not going to complain about that. And if you need dessert to next door for some guava cake (it's too sweet for me but I've tried it and enjoyed it. What I really find delicious is the chocolate macnut long John.

I got the ginger chicken and the loco moco to-go. And I didn't eat until an hour later but the food was still really good. Surprisingly the ginger chicken was still pretty crispy and tasted pretty darn good. The only "problem" would be that I wish the loco moco had more gravy but other than that it tasted great.

You know how you find a little hole in the wall, out of the way mom and pop restaurant that is quirky but well worth a wait and the crowd for the food? Well this is NOT one of those places. Two of us did a walk-in lunch order. Getting everything in a takeout box didn't help the quality of the food or the overall experience. The inside of the run-down store grunt is dimly lit, hot and humid, cramped, and sweaty. Maybe that's authentically "Hawaiian" but it was not an enjoyable place to even wait for the food, let alone eat there. Everything from the counters to the tile floor was chipped and grimy. Far from being cute and homey the inside just looked dirty and old. Even with the two leaf-shaped ceiling fans, it was stuffy and humid. Hand lettered signs send to be posted on everything... And they were tattered and greasy. The server/order taker was BUSY doing both tasks. She did an okay job but, from how things appeared, she was the only front of house worker. From the line of people waiting to order and waiting to get their food, they are understaffed. I had the BBQ pork and chicken combo. The pork was flavorful but bubblegum-chewy and about a quarter fat. The chicken was great texture and almost flavorful.. Like almost seasoned but not really. The rice was cooked perfectly but the Mac salad had soggy noodles. The flavor of the Mac salad was unremarkable. The pineapple chicken may have been authentic, but the flavor was barely noticeable. All the sauce was pooled in the bottom of the takeout container. Because the skin was still on the chicken, all the coating came off easily. I had one piece of crispy, deep fried chicken skin that was delicious. A few pieces of chicken, on the top of the pile, we're crispy and pretty good. However, most of the chicken that had been sitting in the sauce was soggy and unappetizing. The sauce seemed more like diluted pineapple juice than sauce. I wouldn't try this restaurant again. There are many better tasting, cleaner, and flavoring food choices in the area.

Arrived about 12noon on a Monday for a business lunch with a colleague. Was busy. Food quality was very good and reasonably priced. Service was friendly. The downside of the establishment is you need to be prepared to take your food somewhere else to eat if one of the handful of tables is occupied. We got lucky and a two top opened up for us after we paid so we could eat on site. But many others other food to go.

Great Hawaiian food. We had the calamari and ginger chicken to start, then BBQ chicken, Kahlua pork, and Loco moco. Everything tasted just like it did on Kauai. Got a pound of macaroni salad to go. My kid had a cheeseburger and said it was delicious. Humble location without a lot of seating, but the service was fantastic, excellent vibes.

Ordered the loco moco. Fantastic. Ate it to fast to remember to take a picture. Very well priced. Place been here for years for a reason. Always consistent. Have the earliest memory going here as a kid. Also check out the bakery next door. Very popular place in the community. The whole strip mall of businesses is great.
