Katz's is an absolute gem deserving of a solid 5-star rating! From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was top-notch, and the lively atmosphere made dining here an absolute pleasure. But what truly surprised and delighted me were the street tacos! One wouldn't typically associate an Italian deli with amazing tacos, but Katz's defies expectations. The flavors were outstanding, and each bite was a culinary delight. The only small letdown was that I wish the salsa had been spicier to add an extra kick. Katz's has not only mastered the art of customer service but also managed to create a diverse menu that offers something for everyone. If you find yourself here, don't miss the tacos—they're a hidden treasure in an unexpected place.
Had a great lunch on Sunday day. I had the French Dip with French Onion Soup. My wife had the street tacos! Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff was super attentive. I will definitely go back!
The portions are HUGE! There is a wide selection for everyone. Our waitress was fantastic! And save room for dessert! It’s standard fair and reliable. I wouldn’t call it gourmet food but it’s good and fast. It’s a great place if you have kids.
I'm usually better about posting pictures but my sister was a little eager to get into her margarita flight. Everything was wonderful, the staff, the food, the energy! The Salmon salad was so good. I had a simple tequila pineapple that went down a little too easily so I ordered another. This was the perfect place to have a mid-week drink and catch up before I left Houston. Would absolutely come back.
A huge menu! Great pancakes. Pretty good pastrami hash, I suspect the corned beef hash will be better. Excellent fresh bagel! Wonderful desserts 🧁 Open 24 hours. Friendly staff. And a nice policeman to make us feel secure, even walking across the street.
We stopped in for a late lunch this afternoon and had a delicious meal! Our server was excellent with her suggestions and helped us decide exactly what we wanted. We ordered a “Skinny” corned beef sandwich on rye with thick cut NY style chips and a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. We were happy to be able to order of the breakfast menu at 3:30 in the afternoon. The meal came to the table quickly and was perfectly prepared. The best thing about Katz’s is….Katz’s never Kloses!
