I've been a regular here so I wanted to give them a plug. The chicken katsu sandwich is killer and they just expanded the menu to include beef katsu as well. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Good vibe, great food. Do yourself a favor and ask for some spicy mayo on the side. Tell your friends.
Yuna & Eric were very welcoming!! They greeted us with a smile and were very polite. They offered us a free sample of Katsu. The place is very clean and organized. The food is very good and the customer service was amazing!! I got the #7 chicken & beef teriyaki + katsu bento box. And an order of shrimp tempura, it was warm and delicious. The menu had pictures which definitely help being able to see what you’re ordering. Highly recommend this place! Definitely coming back soon!
We were in for three people the month of 12/2023. I ordered the lunch bento and it was a lil' light on portions. Even the rice was skimpy. Rice costs nothing and they were being a bit cheap. I can't see anyone being happy with these portions. That aside the store seemed a bit dusty and unloved. Dirty windows and floor. For example a 5' drink cart that was turned off and had no drinks (that refrigerator that presents drinks) was sitting in a corner. The food wasn't anything to crow about. Heavy fried foods and not a lot of freshness. The sandwich had no garnish or side - you can't just put a sandwich in the middle of the place, looks sloppy. But likely the worse thing is that they didn't have water for paying customers or even a fountain machine. To not have water -- is so 'we are not even trying'. It really is a deal breaker and a 'not a real restaurant' vibe. They had bottled water is what they would say, but come on - that is lazy and cheap. It felt there was no vision and love for the restaurant - just a counter, open room and fryer. Like it is a last ditch effort of some sort. Also everything was served in plastic. It communicates cheap. We so wanted this place to be first rate, but it just doesn't rate. Such is life.
This place has some really good food! They’re very similar to Chick-fil-A but they have katsu chicken and Japanese coleslaw which makes it different. They also have plates and other options. The prices are reasonable, the staff is so nice. Great place and I’ll be back!
I have been a regular since this location has opened and it has been nothing but positivity. They just launched a couple new items on the menu that are delicious and you can tell how much Axel cares about the customers, food, and restaurant. I would give 10 stars if I could.
10/10 axel was an amazing server and helped me and my girl pick out delicious choses. Food was made fast and fresh, we got the bento box and the katsu burger and both were amazing but definitely coming back as a regular for the service and the katsu burger!!
Food was really good. Nice portion. Friendly service. I got the Beef teriyaki bento box, the California roll included in the bento was delish!
The chicken Katsu sandwich is soooo good. I highly recommend you try this spot and get the garlic fires as well.
