Katie O'Byrnes Restaurant - Irish pub in Schenectady - 121 Wall Street State Street &, Erie Blvd, USA

Pretty cool place to go to after a long day at work. Tuesdays are trivia night and while the place was not packed due to inclement weather, a decent amount of folks were there. A true Irish pub with a great selection of beers. Tried the Norris blue and black burger. It was done just right as I had requested. Fries were crispy and crunchy. Would recommend the place for comfort food. Have heard good things about their shepherds pie, will try it next time.

Overall it wasn't as good as we were expecting. It took about 10 minutes before our waitress came to our table to take our drink and food orders, but she was nice. The food took about 15 to 20 minutes to come out. The wings were good, very hot and buttery. You can tell the blue cheese is home made. However, our meals were not very good. I got the grilled chicken club and it was burnt and the chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it. My fiancé got a burger and he ordered it cooked medium. However, it was well done when we got it and generally flavorless. My sweet potato fries were really good though and his tater tots were good (if not a bit salty).

LOVE this place!! Awesome food and atmosphere. Nice family style pub with huge menu with great prices. Great beer options too. I recommend the 3 bbq pulled pork sliders. Their fish fry is also so big it comes with two pieces. So good. Have gone here many times and never disappointed

Great place!! Food tasted awesome. My wings were pretty great and I was a big fan of their Trinity blend. A filling meal and very friendly service. The other person in my party loved the Salmon BLT. Was very loud in the building itself and the taller ceilings made the noise cancellation.... nonexistent. It left a lot to be desired. If you have sensory issues I'd recommend getting outdoor seating if the weather is appropriate for it. But as far as food and service, as well as parking, I'm very satisfied! Thanks Katie, will be back for more :)

Burger slider pictured was what my daughter was served. Literally a piece of burger meat on a bun. The place was freezing inside and my wife’s burger came out burnt and then raw a second time. We gave up. Waiter was decent but didn’t even say sorry for the burger. Place used to be amazing not sure what happened.

Food was phenomenal. I had the fish and chips which tasted fresh and was crispy. The fries were crispy and not overly greasy. My fiancé has the sheppard’s pie which he said was very flavorful and came out steaming hot. We also enjoyed our waitress who was attentive and friendly. This place is not any louder than any other pub you would go to. We enjoyed the atmosphere and it’s just a walk to proctors which is a plus!

Great place and awesome vibe. The bartender/waitress was really fun and attentive. The food was just ok but the atmosphere made up for it.

I was passing through town and needed a quick bite for lunch. Katie O'Byrnes was recommended by a friend as a great spot for wings and they were right. Great service and the wings are delicious, a nice crispiness and excellent flavor (I went with the Asian Sesame). Pair it with an order of tatter tots and I was satisfied. It was a mid-week lunch so the place wasn't crowded and service was fast. I would definitely return next time I'm in the area.
