A nice park tucked away on West Side of Pearl Harbor. Fun place for catch and release of fish and crabs. Tied to larger trail system, good for biking. Docks and other infrastructure, hate to see this and say this, but are run down and in bad shape. Great views of wildlife and views of Oahu. Family type of environment, good for a picnic. Some homeless in area.
Nice park with friendly people to stroll around
This park has some nice walking paths around it and about 15 or 20 picnic tables for you to sit at and about 15 dock's to walk out on there's lots of fishing going on up at this park the area was well kept as they have garbage cans for you though out the whole park paths and there is a restrooms 🚻 for you at the entrance of the park. We love to take our remote control boats up there to race them it is such a blast. I hope this helps you out and have a great day.
(Update 12/20/21)
-platform overlooking bird sanctuary was torched. Unable to use.
Quiet park with parking and a restroom. Next to West Loch and breezy. Nice place to drop some crab nets or a line. Many Piers and ok but need better maintenance. Walking, jogging, or biking on trail good. Mangrove and weeds overgrown. South path (away from Waipahu) and 20 minute walk leads you to Pearl Harbor Bird Sanctuary with lookout. Overall Park need better maintenance but nice place to relax or cardio.
Visited this location during my week visiting Hawaii!
anywhere in hawaii you go/ you must seek permission to enter the land from the ancestors. We assisted a local non profit who organized and support this area.
Shout out to “Thor” who gave me a good laugh while we cleared the area.
A treasure of a place with great folks working hard to keep this place clean and clear for the wildlife and sustaining ecosystem-
Although I don’t remember her native name- forgive me🤞🏾 Danielle has wealth of knowledge about her homeland and helped me understand the history of ha’va’ee (hawaii) “Do it for the culture”
Formerly known as West Loch Shoreline Park. This is one of my new favorite parks on island. Great view of Pearl Harbor and its connected with an extensive bike path.
Little hidden gem that I never knew was there. Been passing it for years 😂. Sign posted says no swimming no fishing ☹️ although the water is dirty it is a beautiful place for photos. There is a small paved walking trail that was nice. Don't know history of it but found an old pamphlet on the internet. Would love to know the history of it if anyone knows.
Beautiful place to relax. Nice breeze. People just fishing and enjoying the fresh air.
Out of all the District Parks in the island this is the cleanest and well taken care of. The bathrooms don't reek if urine and the homeless for the most part don't hang around like other district parks. The staff at Mahiko are amazing with the cleanl
I play tennis at the park. Their is plenty of parking and 4 courts to play on. Also, 4 basket ball courts. 2 volleyball courts, and 2 pickel ball courts. A huge baseball field and a big park to walk your dog.
Cool beach! We parked and had a picnic here. There are no tables or shaded areas here so bring an umbrella if you're coming here during a bright sunny day. The beach is clean but there are houseless individuals and tents here. They didn't bother us.
I discovered my new favorite beach. We had such a fantastic day at Ewa Beach and D'Lish is right next to the beach. Great entertainment by the duo Notso Purdy, which Doyle Purdy and Mike Elwood sing and play a very good variety of songs. The beach is
This is a delightful bit of living history of the O.R.&L. â if you love trains or history, this will be a blast. The train ride is fun and has some lovely views of the ocean. Great activity for kids, too! Sunscreen is a good idea as youâll be exp
Great place to find my favorite liquor. I also love shopping here for gifts. They have some really great choices and small bottles make awesome gifts that I can put into a gift basket or bag. Plus the people who work there are so nice.
OMG, did not disappoint. Them picked vegetables on the lobster roll I was skeptical about, but they added a flavor explosion! The burger was HUGE, juicy and delicious.
This is a great place to live! Iâve been a resident for a few months now and Iâve had nothing but positive experiences in the community. The residence services staff is very responsive in answering questions and always willing to help. The mainte
