The atmosphere was ok. Nothing special but the staff was wonderful. They were so friendly and went out of their way to make my two girls feel special.

To look at this place from the outside, it isn't much to look at, inside, not much more, but the look of the building is not why I went here!!! It is the food. Our party of three each had different menu items. I thought the best meal was the steak. It was done to perfection and really, an enjoyable meal. The other two meals were also good, but the steak was the best. Overall the food tasted good, but the service was a little lacking. I am not sure if the waitress is new or just tired. Because she was really running both on Autopilot and low on Gas. I recommend this place to other travelers heading to that area.

Opens at 4, Arrived at 4:15. Told to wait until 5 before ordering food. Watched others that arrived later seated before us. Happens in a small place. Drinks were great. Tenderloins ordered medium arrived well done, twice baked potato was a small half potato.(yes half potato) tiny cup of mixed vegetable on the small platter. Service was very personable. Definate 3/5 rating for meals. Otherwise a decent place with the new owners. *Noted a few diners we got to know had the same view of what they ordered and said it used to be better. Hopefully a one time occurrence and much better next time.

So, the bartender was great. She was over busy w no help. We think the waitress was over whelmed. We had to ask her to take our order and after we were done eating after almost 45 minutes we had to ask her to clear our bill. She never checked on us They had a party of “ too many” so we were ignored. Food was average. They need to fix their way of using their charge card reader. It requires WAY too much time and effort Hope they get their act together.

I ordered poor man's lobster, salad and onion rings. It came and the salad was in a very small coleslaw bowl and the green beans were in a tarter sauce bowl. The poor man's lobster was very good but could have been hotter. It was really cold by the time I finished. It also came with a roll and choice of potato. I asked for onion rings in place of the potato. Never got the onion rings. Waitress did not come to ask how everything was or I would have asked where they were and for some lemon. When she brought the bill, I showed her the onion rings written on the bill she replied "oh I didn't see that". No apology, no free drink. They charge $2.00 for using a charge card so I paid with cash. They had a decent growd when we left. Bar was full when we left,, but only a few when we got there. I'm done, sorry to say.

Tenderloin was paper thin, definitely not 8 ounce. Asked for medium rare, came out more than well done. My dad got the catfish. The part that was actually cooked was good, but half of it was still raw.

All four of us had the special of the day and it was great. Joanne cooked and served a great tasting and plentiful Chicken Alfredo over pasta while Mark mixes up the best old fashions. They always let their customers know they appreciate their business and are happy to see you.

Chicken is excellent! Great service, friendly staff and the food is very very good.
