(June 2023) Lunch or dinner, the food is amazing. We dined twice here and kept talking about the lilikoi dipping sauce that comes with the fruit plate.
The bar is in front of the pool so the kids can go take a dip. The only requirement is that they dry off (wrap them in a towel) before they walk into the restaurant to avoid dripping water everywhere.
The restaurant has views of the ocean and sunset.
You may use your free mai tai drink vouchers and ask for the Virgin version, tastes just like a smoothie!

We had a great experience here. The waiters were extremely attentive, and came very often to refill drinks. The food was fine for the price point. I thought it was pretty creative how the restaurant stretches around the pool. I came twice and had a great experience both times.
We went here almost every day of our stay and we were really impressed by the ahi sandwich, ahi bowl and more. We didn't try everything on the menu. Also they have different menus for lunch and dinner. The lunch shrimp tacos is to die for. As we you can eat in the restaurant or enjoy their meals at the pool.
Nice pool side cafe, with a view of the ocean, to grab lunch or a drink. Food was good not great. SO overpriced! $30 for a very average burger! Service was very good and fast. View of the ocean is interrupted by pool umbrellas. Gluten free options. Go to Humble Kitchin instead!
Food was decent but we were seated on a wooden bench in the evening and the next day noticed that our pants were stained and it would not come out in the laundry. We mentioned it to the management the next day and they could not care less. Pretty disappointing for a resort where you dress up to eat and pay an arm and a leg for your food.
Came here for dinner. Very nice views, specially at sunset, overlooking the ocean. The food however was just okay. Not anything I would come back for.

My family's not usually the type to dine at restaurants in the hotel/resort because we typically like to adventure outside and look for the "foodie" spots. If you're like me and use reviews as a standard for determining where to eat, then let me say that this is a pretty good spot!
I tend to underestimate hotel food and the "bar and grill" title gave me the notion that they serve just American cuisine, which I personally don't prefer when I'm vacationing in Hawaii. However, this actually turned out to be a nice spot for dinner. (:
We stayed at the Wailea Beach Resort so this was only two steps away. Plus, you're right by the pool and can get a view of the sunset here if you time it up right.
The food was also pretty good! I wasn't a big fan of the double ahi roll, but everything else was really tasty! Definitely consider trying this spot, especially if you're staying at the Marriott!
KAPA Bar & grill is amazing. We ate here a few times during our stay and every dish we tried was a hit(even with our kids). Hendrix, our waiter, truly shared the Aloha Spirit with us and made our dining experience so wonderful. Not to mention, you can’t beat the stunning ocean views!

This was my first luau and it was absolutely amazing!!! The open bar was perfect for a good night. The food was family style which I kind of donât like but no problems with the food distributed. The show was amazing from start to finish. Got a prem
Amazing facility located on one of the best beaches in Maui. Perfect for sunsets. Good snorkeling right to the south of the resort. Saw Eels, Turtles, Trigger fish etc... the main restaurant was under renovation while we were there. Also, some hot
I've been there for dinner a few times. It's a nice place, friendly staff. I haven't seen the rooms, but have heard they're a little small, as it was converted from old condo units. Play at the beach, sleep in the room.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The views of the ocean and other islands are beautiful, especially at sunset. The pool was always quiet, even when kids were there. You have to be careful around the pool, though, because the tile is slippery
