A quiet neighborhood spot. The service is excellent, the space is compact and cosy. We normally sit at the bar and order the specials. The sushi quality is variable. At times excellent and at times the rice is not as it should be. It isn’t crazy priced unlike some sushi places - For the price, it’s excellent!
Love this spot. The staff are very courteous and the fish is great quality, no frills and no mayo sauces. I always spend more than intended because it’s so good. I especially love the kanpachi (amber jack) and agedashi tofu.
Reviews did not match what we experienced. We were seated quickly for dinner. And there were a steady stream of customers. Very disappointed with sushi rolls and the apps. Sushi rice did not taste seasoned and texture was off. I'd come back for the udon, everything else was meh.
All around amazing! Absolutely delicious and the staff are extremely friendly! Truly heart broken to find out they are moving, have been coming for more than 14 years. But the wonderful staff and menu are moving to there sister restaurant Kanpai Sushi, at 330 Lytton Avenue Palo Alto, CA 94301
Service was very quick. The food was good for the price. The sashimi was sliced a little too thin which made the texture not quite right. The flavour of the roll was OK, but not amazing.
A neighborhood staple, Koma Sushi is the quintessential family restaurant. It's got the aged carpet, storied walls and employees who are friends or related. The sushi is good, not mind-blowing, but solid. My favorites were the cooked/seared nigiris and hand rolls. The waitresses are really sweet and the chefs are always having a fun conversation. There's a decent amount of parking and it wasn't too busy when we went at 5pm. Worth coming by if you're looking for a safe sushi option.
They didn't have the option for bento boxes for dinner (Or at least, not in the menu), so I ordered a Tempura dinner with a side of Sashimi. The pieces of Sashimi were tiny, but the Tempura plate was huge (for two people easily). Flavor was good. The bill was very expensive for this unbalanced meal. You can tell is a very authentic Japanese restaurant, but they still don't have the right idea about what locals expect as "normal" portions.
amazing food! came on a wednesday evening and it seemed like a popular time yet our food got served so quickly! We got the gyoza, salmon and avocado rolls, chicken teriyaki, and tempura. Would definitely come back!
Hands down the best sushi in Palo Alto. Itâs called âexecutive sushiâ for a reason. Itâs definitely pricey, but very, very fresh. We love the edamame, miso soup, chefâs special role, spicy tuna, volcano roll, tempura shrimp roll, yaki udon,
Training at Palo Alto Fit has been a wonderful experience for me, and I owe a lot of that to my trainer, Jason! I was intimidated by the gym at first, but Jason's encouraging attitude helped me feel more comfortable. He created a personalized workou
