Kanopi - Fine dining restaurant in White Plains - 1 Renaissance Square, USA

I celebrated my birthday here last night, and I can’t stop thinking about the food and the service. The entire experience really exceeded my expectations. Sitting in the chefs kitchen is really a special treat. He explains the origins and ingredients of all his dishes as he serves them in his spotless kitchen . You can feel the love in that kitchen and in the food . The staff is so well trained. The take home bag of Portuguese treats was so unexpected and so appreciated! I felt like a celebrity. I cannot wait to go back!!!!! Thank you for making my birthday absolutely magical!

My wife and I enjoyed our evening at Kanopi as a gift from our daughter, and we can't thank her enough. We have lived in Europe and have dined at Michelin starred restaurants, and our experience at Kanopi reminded us of our best dining experiences in Europe. The food was outstanding. The staff was superb, explaining each course. The location, atop the Opus Westchester Hotel, is magnificent. This is a special place for a special occasion.

This place used to be the old 42. It's under new management and the service, decor, seating and most importantly the food has been much improved. We were received in the lobby by the staff that escorted to the elevator that would take us to the restaurant. We sere there for late lunch so it was very slow. The person that sat us also served us. He was amazing. Made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The lunch menu is short but varied. The drink options are well though out. My daughter and I will definitely be coming back. Besides the great food, the bathroom were clean and well cared for. And the view of White Plains is amazing. Highly recommend it.

Kanopi hosted us for a corporate event last week. The staff was absolutely incredible. The food was hands down the best event food I’ve ever eaten. The view of the NYC skyline was decent, I guess. ;) I travel and host events around the country. The crew at Kanopi makes my top 3 list, maybe top2, and they may be the best. Well done. Keep it up.

The setting, food, and service could not have been better. Colin and his team were wonderful to work with, and their anticipation to every detail made the evening exceptionally comfortable and ideal for our celebration.

Had an amazing night with my wife for her birthday, the service was top class to match the food. We could not have asked for better food or a better time. I'm sure we will be back to sample a new menu sometime soon. This is a must if you are a local as the views show the whole skyline of NYC and Long Island Sound.

Chef Anthony Goncalves and his team are creating and producing Michelin level food at this outstanding private restaurant atop the Ritz-Carlton tower in downtown White Plains. Chef Goncalves celebrates his Portuguese roots in his food, but with modern flare. The staff always makes you feel comfortable; as if you were eating in your own home (if your home was 42 stories up with sweeping views of NYC, the Hudson Valley and Long Island Sound). I highly recommend reserving a seat at the table inside the kitchen, which accommodates up to six diners. But you can't go wrong with one of the tables with their magnificent views. Hands down, Kanopi is the best restaurant in Westchester County. It's Westchester's most unique and special fine dining establishment.

The food, the venue, the presentation, it's all spectacular... But the service is at a whole different level. This crew cares and it shows. I suggest the kitchen seats, but try to avoid the bread. The 8 courses are a lot of food, and you will be super stuffed after 3+ hrs of eating and drinking.
