Ordered the following to go: chicken fried rice, fried calamari, caterpillar roll, California roll, sushi appetizer. Was a little over 50$ and was extremely disappointed. I think many of the high ratings come from people who haven't really been outside the Brazos Valley Bubble or haven't gone to other places. The fried calamari was extremely bland, it didn't even taste like it had salt. The portion was really small. For about 10$, I expected more than exactly 10 pieces. It appears that they probably count exactly how many pieces each order gets, which means it's 1$/piece, which is insane considering it was so under flavored. They are definitely penny pinching. The fried rice was average. The menu: the menu is huge but most of the actual roles have the same ingredients over and over again or when they finally have a different ingredient, it's mixed with something like jalapeno. The variety is actually lacking for the quantity of sushi rolls they have. It's just most of the same ingredients over and over again with a different add on here and there. The sushi: the fish tasted old and fishy for most of the pieces (except the California roll, but it's hard to mess that one up). I get CStat is fairly inland, but I've tasted better sushi elsewhere (Naked Fish, etc are some places that come to mind). We should've just stopped inside HEB and gotten fried rice from the freezer isle and the sushi from HEBs Sushiya. It would've certainly been cheaper and it would've been the same quality.
I was very disappointed with my dinner. I have been looking for Sukiyaki. This came out in a bowl full of broth with maybe four slices of beef, no mushrooms tons of green bell pepper, a few onionand some tofu. This was not your traditional sukiyaki. I can't eat green bell peppers, so I had to pick them all out, the menu didn't say that it had green bell peppers in it, traditional Sukiyaki does not. A questioned the waitress about it and she asked the owner who told me that was traditional sukiyaki. I beg to differ since my mom was born in Tokyo and I've been to Japan 14 times, I know Sukiyaki, and this was not it. The beef was overcooked, very tough. While holding it with your Chopstick you could not bite into it you basically had to grab it with your fingers and pull to get a bite. I also had a few pieces of nigiri, the eel was great, the Maguro was very small, the tamago was good.
The food was presented beautifully, and it tasted amazing. Definitely will come back soon!
It's 5 PM, I am coming by after work, the sign says open but there is no one inside. I waited about 10 minutes by the hostess station, and I don't really mind waiting to be seated or for food, but they came out and told me they were too busy and wouldn't serve me. There's no one in the restaurant, so maybe there's online orders? But I've never been turned away from an empty restaurant like this.
Kamei Sushi & Grill is fantastic! Tucked into the shopping center, and just around the corner from H‑E‑B, this little gem is a keeper. The chef runs a tight ship, and her fish is a better quality than I have seen or tasted in larger, “fancier” establishments. She makes exquisite dishes and is the only one behind the sushi bar. The dishes that come from her kitchen are equally as perfect. Visit Kamei when you want true Japanese fare, not just a chain sushi restaurant. Enjoy!
The owner/chef had a restaurant in California before coming here. The soup was good, with bits of seaweed and tiny cubed tofu. The salad was crisp and had plenty of dressing. My sushi was good, but the portions could have been more generous. Maybe because this was the lunch sushi special, the portions are smaller. My husband chose the two item bento box. He was happy with it. We came before noon and our food came out very quickly. The server, Mona, was pleasant and friendly.
Dissappointed with our visit. Average quality sushi with poor service. They did not notify us that auto gratuity was applied to our bill. We have never been somewhere that counts young kids towards the auto gratuity. The soda was low on syrup and they just told us that's how it was supposed to taste. We won't be back.

I am so proud of how far my son has come in a couple of months. Thanks so much for helping my son to focus his energy. On one thing at a time until he has mastered it. This skill has been driving him to complete his task before he starts another one.

Stopped on during a visit to see what they had. I love little bakeries, and they did not disappoint. Cozy atmosphere with really good food. Very friendly staff member. I will be making it a regular stop whenever I am in town.
By far, the best pizza I've ever had in Texas! Friendly owners and staff! Great ambience. Amazing pizza ð pie, and calzones! I would have given them all 5-stars âââââ if they put more marinara (pizza sauce) on their pizza and calzone

We rent an RV site monthly for the football season. The owners host a game day happy hour and social the night before each game. Lots of fun, and we get to meet and mingle with new people and return guests. The grounds and buildings are clean and wel
