Kalispell is a desirable destination town in Northwest Montana. it has seen a lot of pressure over the decades from people who want to move here. It has Scenic views, warm hospitable native people, and us a jumping off place to experience some natural wonders. it is constantly growing and expanding so hopefully we can see some Healthy Growth and Community Development over the next decade or so. but at the moment the housing market is being pressed hard from people who want to live in a place that doesn't have a large population. the culture here is very family based and based in love and Common Sense and a keen awareness their consciences, God, faith, hope, and grace.
I live here prices are stupid High , service mediocre, hotels ,apartments and housing prices are Beyond Criminal. so, enjoy but don't stay!!
It's a quaint little town with positives and negatives. Right now the major negative is lack of affordable housing. (Due to the awesome scenery and many outdoor opportunities.) If it weren't so beautiful here, I'm sure that problem wouldn't be as bad. Kalispell is the major "city" in the beautiful Flathead County, and has a lot of things to do.
Neighborhood awareness is prudent, everything you want to keep should be locked up, and you might want to practice your 2nd amendment right to carry a firearm.
On the other hand, it is pretty
Still love my hometown, even if it feels like they shifted the whole town north, over the hill! New shopping, schools, medical offices, and living spaces; good thing main street kand my Grandma's house) looks essentially the same as 10 years ago or I might be lost; those travelling through to Glacier Park will find it a worthy stop for supplies, or a nice day break from hanging out on Flathead Lake..and may also find a tasty bite to eat at one of the new, really tasty, restaurants (sit-down, fast food, and/or fast casual) mixed in around the big and small brand name stores
Nice hotel in a beautiful area. My room was a “Lakeview” room on the 3rd floor (picture attached). The rooms are nice. I was put up in an “Accessible” room which probably explains the really low beds. One of the beds was broken (felt like you were falling out of it) and the front desk individual (who was cheerful and helpful) was informed when I checked out. The young man that checked me in was great - Upbeat, positive, and very knowledgeable. Now the negative: Uh... none. Will stay here again I need to. NOTE: if you are coming from Kalispell, travel to Polson via the east side of the lake - Much prettier and more relaxing.

I stay at this hotel a couple times a year. One of the best airport hotels ever. And the staff are the best part.

We had a king suite it was accessible with a small kitchen, very clean, front desk reception was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with the area. Beds were comfortable. They have tons of brochures. They have a snack, food and toiletries by the fron
Nice hearty, cabin-style rooms. Itâs not a Marriott or Hilton like refined style, but the homey feeling is just what you would like in Montana. Nice decor with personal touch. Free laundry and pool table was great. Visited twice and will visit agai
Wonderful concert venue. Comfortable seats and great sound system. Staff was super helpful in finding seats and offering information. Wish the lighting would have been a bit better, but that may have been the band's crew. Way too much bright white, w
