Kalia Suites by Hilton Grand Vacations - Hotel in Honolulu - 2005 Kālia Rd W-4, USA

The rooms are spacious and clean with all amenities you could need even a rice cooker. Our housekeeper was phenomenal!!! They even did our dishes, we always got fresh towels and all things were restocked before ever running low! The views are spectacular. The area is a little bit busy, kinda ghetto(outside of the hotel property) and at night you will hear tons of sirens, the Hilton waikiki village is enormous with 5 pools but it takes a while to get anywhere and most restaurants are .4 of a mile away or farther. The pools all close at 630 which was odd but overall still 100% worth it. There are ABC stores close, the activities are a lot of fun, we made kukui bracelets, there's yoga, ukulele lessons, Lei making etc. Do make sure if you stay at Hilton waikiki village that you know which building you are staying in as there are multiple buildings and we spent a lot of time walking around to the wrong buildings when we first got here.

Shuttle service from the hotel dropped us off at a Uber/Lyft location. Would have loved to been dropped off at the lobby to allow for an easier check-in. The customer service is really good and the people who work here are friendly.

We had a decent view but they have really managed to overcharge you for everything! The parking was $62 a night for self parking in their garage. Food was overpriced. $33 for a hamburger. The luau was short and $200 per person for buffet and show but other hotel guests walking by the lagoon were able to see the show for free. There are a lot of shops and a big resort but it definitely is expensive to stay here. There are better places to stay in Waikiki.

Very nice ocean view from the 17th floor. The did not give me warning that checking after 5pm was in another building.

I stayed at the Kalia Tower, which is located in Hilton Village. Made a reservation for a room with ocean view to enjoy the ocean from the balcony; all i was able to see was three big buildings lacoted right between the ocean and my room. I requested to be placed in a room with an actual ocean view, and they wanted me to pay an extra $50 more per night. I decided to stay in the room. I was planning and doing some activities.. but I would really enjoy a morning coffee looking at the ocean.The room itself was ok. It had two beds, one coffee maker, a tv, and a mini refrigerator. The beds we horrible I couldn't sleep one good night sleep. The beds were not comfortable. The carpet looked old and dirty; outside the room wasn't any better. Wall and floors looked in poor conditions. The power went out twice. One of those times, I was in the elevator with more people, including some kids. The kids were really starting to hit worried about the co ditions. No one from the Hilto even asked if we were ok. I will never stay here again. Also, you have to pay a mandatory $50 dollars extra per night to cover resort fees. Resorts, anyone walking by can enjoy. And taxes were not included.

Having stayed in Lagoon, Grand Islander, and Kalia Towers, I can honestly say this is the poor cousin that Hilton gives no love to. What sucks because it wasn't always this way. Pre covid things were much better. But now the service and experience have just gone down the drain. The rooms are dated and the entire place feels like something out of the 80s. The mattress horrible. I haven't had a good night sleep since we checked in. There is no reliability present on-site desk/bell staff because Hilton wants to pinch every penny. The staff does the best and no knock on them at all, they're just overwhelmed by Hilton's service cuts. All in all, the Hilton Hawaiian Village has just become a hotel and the cuts will continue. You use to come here for the experience and service. Now it's a place to sleep.

Love the area and Courtyard. Many activities, stores, Restaurants, and Bars 🍸 👌 for your enjoyment. Just a total experience altogether. By the way Love the Pool....

Loved the quieter Kalia tower. HVV thought of everything from design of rooms (privacy), extreme quiet, free use of waters and dryers, and even laundry detergent. The hotel stored our bags after checkout since we had a red-eye flight. We had access to a lounge where we were able to unwind and shower before our flight, complete with lockers and shower amenities. As part of Hilton Grand Hawaiian resort, one would never have to leave (not that I recommend this). They also have a doctor on-site which hopefully no one needs but proved invaluable during our travels. There are three pools on sight. The one at Kalia is for ages 18+.
