Wow, nice hidden gem right in the thick of things in Bostons market area and govt center. Food is special, great flavors and some unique grilled meat flavors that is not the run of the mill Thai restaurant. They have a gluten free menu of noodles, rice and soups. We did not have a problem ordering a gluten free and nut sesame free lunch. They accommodated very easily. Staff are nice and friendly and service is quick.
Absolutely delicious! A must visit in the area. And also really affordable prices! I came at peak time on a weekend and got a table with no wait. Menu is much more varied than most Thai restaurants in the area. Everything tasted fresh and each dish had a unique, distinct flavor. I have never tasted anything like the spicy chicken I got! Also very good with allergies! The menu is not labelled but they know exactly what goes into every dish. They have 2 gluten free/soy free chicken dishes, just ask the wait staff. Good with peanut/nut allergies too. Service is amazing. Everyone is super friendly. Ambiance is nice. Not too loud not too quiet. I will return frequently.
A must visit!!! Situated in a bustling downtown. One of the best Thai food I ever had. Simply amazing. The vibe was a typical mom and pop shop. The flavor was so good and on point. Ordered a chicken red curry and drunken noodles. The spice level was good and appropriate. Definitely would try again next time when in town.
Went in without a reservation on Saturday evening and was seated immediately. The staff is friendly and attentive. Ordered corn cakes, veg basil fried rice, shrimp kee mao and homemade milo ice cream. The space is small but cozy. They have vegetarian options and can substitute meat in most dishes to make vegetarian. It’s located in downtown Boston. My only complaint is that the bathroom was very dirty. Rest was good.
We had Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp, Drunken noodles with chicken, crispy rolls, and fried rice with seafood. The pictures are half eaten food because we couldn’t resist eating before taking pictures. The service was quick and efficient. Loved the food, told the server to make it spicy, she did a great job. Highly recommend!
Kala Thai Cookery: A Thai Culinary Gem in Boston Pros: - Perfectly Cooked Pad Thai: The Pad Thai at Kala Thai Cookery is a burst of flavors. The noodles are spot-on, and the sweet, savory, and slightly tangy sauce is a treat for the taste buds. - Delicious Massaman Curry: The Massaman Curry is like a warm, Thai hug in a bowl. Creamy, rich coconut milk-based curry with just the right level of spice, served with tender chunks of meat. - Efficient Service: The staff here takes orders lightning fast, and your dishes arrive promptly, ensuring you get your Thai fix in no time. Cons: - Small Space, Potential Wait: The restaurant is quite small, so be prepared for a wait, especially on busy nights. - Not for Leisurely Dining: If you're looking for a leisurely meal, this might not be the place. The limited space and the queue of diners at the entrance create a bustling, energetic atmosphere. Summary: Kala Thai Cookery in Boston is a must-visit for lovers of Thai cuisine. Their Pad Thai and Massaman Curry are culinary delights. The efficient service ensures you won't be waiting too long, but do be ready for a lively, cozy dining experience. It's the perfect spot to savor your meal before moving on to your next adventure. 🍛🌶️🍜
Great Thai restaurant, located right beside the Boston public market. We went on a Saturday evening at 515pm with reservations (highly recommended); it was fairly busy, esp while the market is open. We ordered corn cakes, Char kway teow (Malaysian noodle dish- tasted pretty authentic), and short rib curry, which comes with rice. Portion sizes were decent, and we didn’t find any of the dishes spicy, despite the 2 chilli signs on it. The curry was a bit on the sweeter side, but still tasty.
This is a great little Thai restaurant, their food really impressed me. It is a small space with less than 10 tables, but I was able to be seated right away as a group of 3 at around 5pm on a Sunday. We ordered a Chicken Kee Mao (drunken noodles), Shrimp Pad Thai, and a Pork Kapow. We all thought our food was very good. I had the Kee Mao and was very impressed, the sauce had a lot of flavor that really stood out. It was quite spicy but not too spice in my opinion, but spicier than most other places. The portion sizes were good, and it really is a great value for money for a great meal. The food came out very quickly and the service was very good.
An amazing Thai restaurant with plenty of Asian food options to choose from. The only negative about this place is the hard to find parking spot. We ordered the scallion pancakes, no meat tofu sushi rolls and Thai basil fried rice. ð ð£ð± Sc
So, flat out, the food was phenomenal. The flavor was fresh, authentic to Thai standard, and everything mixed very well. Not too much of any one flavor, everything intermingled beautifully. The thing I want to highlight overall was the portioning.
Thai was a little diluted, calamari was good!, pad thai taste great, drunken noodle is fair, berry crab rangoon was effinâ good!, mango sticky rice is fair and crispy chicken basil is not that amazing for me. Our server was nice and proactive. Tabl
This place had a huge menu of items to choose from. Several dishes with imitation/artificial chicken, duck, and beef. My partner had the Pad Thai which was served with bean sprouts and lime slices. I had the Massaman Curry that was fresh and zesty. T

A charming, cozy cafe near Nubian Square. I was lucky enough to go when it was empty. The decor in the back is beautiful and would make for a relaxing study or date spot. The worker was kind enough to give me recommendations about the different past
The meat here is fully halal. The owner is super friendly. We tried the beef, lamb and tofu. All three were really good and tasty! Loved the flavors in each.
Honestly itâs hard to put into words how important this gym is to me. I moved to the USA in early 2018, knowing only 1 other person. We now have what I would consider to be a large family full of friends who honestly, give me a reason to wake up in
