Situated conveniently next to Uncle Robert's is a treasure trove of the creature comforts you need!
I found the dental floss and stove gas I needed and it's no surprise with this kind of inventory!
From dog food, hot coffee and salad veggies to booze and an ATM... If you need it chances are the Korner Store has it! The service is friendly making a visit here a pleasure.
I have been. frequenting this little store almost everyday as it is just 3 miles down the hill from my place. The staff as of now is excellent! I cruise here on wifi, eat food, charge my phone, and take a stroll to the coast line made of lava rock. I love this spot!
This is a really neat store that seems to be thriving despite being literally at the end of the road, in the middle of no place. Well stocked and friendly. Lava flows have been disrupting the surrounding area and destroying houses, and making new land for a number of years, this little outpost persists in the face of all of those challenges with a lava flow right out the front of the parking lot.
I like that there’s food here. The people are nice.
I’d love fresh meat and more vegetables. Ground beef would be nice to have. I’m surprised they don’t stock more considering the weekly farmers market across the street.
Perfect last minute store with all your needs and more. Standard groceries. Fresh food and goodies available. Ice. Alcohol and more. Most prices were very close to nearby Pahoa town.
Visited today on our drive along the Red Road. Not much happening on a Sunday. I believe Saturday is when if all happens with live music and a market. Well supplied store there for provisions. Worth checking out before you visit if you can and are looking for the music etc. Applies a happening place I have on good authority.
This is the only store in the area, only place to get food anywhere near without driving an extra 30 minutes to town, and it has been an absolute lifesaver. The employees are always friendly, selection is good, and the sandwiches and salads are delicious too. If they sold gas I would probably just give them my entire paycheck because there are no gas stations in the area either 🤣
Awesome place to grab some snacks and drinks while traveling the coast .
In the heart of Kalapana & Uncle Roberts a must stop before hitting the coast for day of sunshine and Aloha 🌴

Stopped in to get a dessert to bring to a dinner party and was delighted at how cute the shop was! Small but packed with all types of beautiful looking goodies. Was tempted by the cake pops and the Tahitian lime bars, but finally decided on the lili
Beautiful little church with a rich history. There are picnic tables on the side of the church and a singular porta-potty. Thereâs a sink to wash hands but may or may not have soap. The plants and flowers are so beautiful around the church as well
Phenomenal experience.
Walking on brand new land... Feel the heat from the crevices, see the steam.
Store into the maw of Fissure 8.
Melissa is a great host, with a wealth of knowledge.
The highlight of the park.
We parked at Lava Tubes and started straight down into the crater. Our plan was to do a loop by circling back on the canyon rim trail. In retrospect, I should have parked at KÄ«lauea Iki Overlook Parking Lot, because it ha
Nice family run business with island flavored ice creams. My favorite is the Coconut Haupia. They also offer banana splits, shakes, coffee, root beer floats, and shave ice. I always grab some ice cream when waiting for my dinner/lunch at the surround
If I can give this restaurant a 1000/10 I would. The vibe was amazing, our server was the best. I have celiac disease and let me tell you that gluten free/dairy free waffles are literally so DELICIOUS. The fruit was so fresh and you can taste how org
