Kailua Beach - Beach in Kailua - , USA

A gorgeous beach with fine golden sand and emerald-colored water. I was there in September and I really liked it. A quiet and uncrowded place.

I love love love this beach! The sand is dense enough that you don't sink down into it easily. It was clean, quiet, and just so relaxing. I would stay here forever if I could. There are no seagulls anywhere, just pigeons and chickens. Just beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful beach. I went on a Sunday at around noon and the beach was not crowded at all. Had the whole beach to myself almost!

During the weekdays the beach was not crowded and had great waves. The weekend although a little more crowded still had plenty of space. There is a small parking lot and street parking nearby. Also showers and bathrooms present. Did not see lifeguards on the days we visited

Like many others who visited, this has become my favorite beach. We were lucky enough to stay nearby and be able to walk up to the beach. While it can get a little too busy for me on the Friday/Saturday, it is otherwise a really peaceful and lovely place to relax or walk around. The beach is around 2 miles long, and truly enjoyable to walk from one end to the other.

A beautiful beach with turquoise waters, white sand and amazing views. Good amenities - several parking spots, washrooms, outside showers with fresh water. The water may be murky when the wind and/or tide are stronger. We swam towards an island (bird sanctuary) and back but did not go on the island not to disturb birds. People are kayaking to the island and around. Even though there are some corals, snorkeling is not interesting (saw several fish but nothing to be impressed with).
