Service was great! Food came out incredibly fast as well. I was stoked to see they have vegan and vegetarian options and they have a lot more compared to other places. I got the naughty or nice roll. My boyfriend got the beacons roll and said it’s the best roll he’s ever had and all the fish was super fresh! Would definitely recommend.

Staff is great the chef 20 years experience and the food fresh and delicious. Don't miss this place on 101 it's worth the visit.

Visit #2 consisted of The sashimi combo, special Hawaiian, scallop hand roll and some fresh wasabi. Once again, amazed with the quality of fish and more the quality of location and service. We got lucky to have Michelle once again as our sever, which suggested some things that turned about to be life changing when eating sushi. Well worth our 45 min drive from OC.

Everything was wonderful. We walked in and my daughter was waiting for us. Service was great. Right away we were able to order our drinks. We were ready to order our food when she came to deliver our drink order. Our food order came right away. She also came often to ask if things were OK, if we needed anything else, she was very attentive.

Only have great things to say about this place! We came in right as they opened and everything was super fresh! Rolls were delicious!! Even a basic spicy tuna roll was super fresh. Highly recommend the special Hawaiian roll. The kook roll was great too.

We went for sushi last night after enjoying,” Nightscape” at the botanical gardens. We walked in- It wasn’t the most welcoming vibe- just meh. We placed our order, etc. I ordered sake. It never came. My friend said the miso soup was not good. I ordered a poke bowl. Unfortunately, I got mild food poisoning as the night progressed into this morning. I have had better poke bowls. Overall- subpar food/vibe. Our server didn’t come around and check on us. I am over restaraunts serving up mediocore service and food yet think they can continue to increase their prices.

Awesome sushi and chicken teriyaki. The watermelon green tea & cucumber lime infused drinks were delicious! Great staff, server & atmosphere.

I don't live in Encinitas, so I went intending to compare my local sushi restaurants to this one... its something everyone does when sushi is in question. We also know that sushi lovers don't just like it for no apparent reason or certainly don't enjoy it just because it's trendy... its because it's special, different, unique, and delicious. But, (yes here's the but') this place... have you ever stopped chewing because you realized what you were eating was connecting to your brain telling you that this is really delicious.. no, hold on, thus is the best you've ever had and what you are eating is also turning into a cerebral experience. And you start looking around at your surroundings thinking to yourself and wondering how is it this little place is walled with plyboards and producing such incredible food... it's not just food, it's so good, too good kinda sushi. I hope it never loses its chefs or their brilliant rolls they've designed for the purpose of flavor and the most freshness you've ever had. You'll know what I mean when you take your first bite.
