I overheard two flight attendants saying this is the best coffee on the island so we made a beeline over to Kai Coffee. The best, smoothest, richest espresso. We absolutely love their lattes and will be back each morning we are here. Try the macadamia nut syrup for a Hawaiian twist. I thought the açai bowl was great as well. The lineup got longer after 7am, so if you can, get here early and enjoy the sunrise.

The best coffee in Hawaii! We saw 2 of Kai cafes were very busy on our walk every morning. Always long queue. So thought to give it a try and glad we did. From then on we stopped at Kai Coffee on the beach side for coffee every morning while in Waikiki. They know what really coffee is all about. Oat latte was perfect. It was creamy and had the right amount of sweetness. Delicious! I vouch for Kai Coffee anytime. They also have life music on Saturday and this place is very popular with beach goers because it’s right on the beach.

A Waikiki Gem: Kai Coffee Hawaii - Where Coffee Perfection Meets Aloha Spirit 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 From the moment I stepped into Kai Coffee Hawaii, nestled in the bustling heart of Waikiki, I knew I was in for an exceptional coffee experience. This isn't just another coffee shop; it's a haven where the aroma of world-class coffee blends with the essence of true Hawaiian hospitality. As a coffee aficionado, I've savored cups across the globe, yet Kai Coffee Hawaii stands out with its masterfully crafted beverages. Each sip of their coffee is a testament to the passion and expertise that goes into selecting, roasting, and brewing their beans. Whether you're after a robust espresso or a delicately balanced pour-over, the quality here is unparalleled, providing a complex array of flavors that dance on the palate. What truly sets this coffee joint apart, though, is its atmosphere—it's chill, it's relaxed, it's like stepping into a serene pocket of paradise amid the excitement of Waikiki. You can feel the island pace slow down as you take a seat, the stress of the outside world melting away with the music that gently fills the space. It's an ideal spot for a morning pick-me-up, a mid-day meeting, or a leisurely afternoon escape with a good book in hand. But let's talk about the heart of Kai Coffee Hawaii—the staff. The team here doesn't just serve coffee; they serve smiles, stories, and an infectious warmth that makes you feel like ohana (family). Marcus, Anela, and Piko are baristas who don't just remember your order—they remember you. Their attention to detail, from the perfect latte art to remembering your name and your preferences, is remarkable. These three stand out as not just amazing baristas but as ambassadors of the Aloha spirit. Marcus, with his expert knowledge, can guide you through the coffee menu with the skill of a seasoned sommelier, making each visit an educational journey through the world of coffee. Anela, with her bright smile and genuine interest in every customer, creates a welcoming environment that turns first-timers into regulars. And then there's Piko, whose energy and enthusiasm for crafting the perfect drink are nothing short of contagious. Kai Coffee Hawaii is more than just a place to grab a cup of joe—it's an experience, a community, and a highlight of Waikiki. Whether you're a local or a traveler just passing through, this coffee sanctuary is a must-visit. For those seeking a coffee experience that's as rich and memorable as the islands themselves, look no further than Kai Coffee Hawaii, where every cup comes with a generous pour of aloha. In short, Kai Coffee Hawaii is a jewel in Waikiki's vibrant crown, a spot where coffee excellence and generosity of spirit blend seamlessly to create not just amazing drinks but lasting memories. Highly recommended!

Kai coffee shop is right opp to Kuhio/Waikiki Beach and is on the Kapi'olani Boulevard. Stopped here on our way to beach and grabbed the Hawaiian latte. I wanted to try it Iced, but the staff made it hot and I still wanted to try it. Tasted okay, I ll try the Iced tom :) Convenient location to most of the hotels nearby and the beach.

Got an Acai bowl and a caramel latte. I like more of a caramel macchiato but they can’t make that here for some reason. The caramel latte was ok but not sweet enough. The Acai bowl was good but I’ve had way better. Debating if it’s worth going back if I can’t get what I’m wanting in the coffee though. Can’t post pic of coffee as Google isn’t showing the pic for me to add. Starting to happen a lot and getting annoying.

Visit: November 2023 A nice coffee shop with a really good view of the beach since its right next to it. Very chill vibes and the coffee is not bad, but can be quite pricey. The wait was also quite a long time with little people in line

Delicious coffee and friendly staff. Always busy in the morning with a long line and doesn’t seem the like the staff is motivated to make the line move any faster. It’s also annoying that they charge $1 for non-dairy milk, especially in a cortado that uses about 1.5 oz of milk.

Friendly staff, great coffee! Busy and often has a line but worth it. Great soy lattes and breakfast items.

Only negative is no bathroom. Food was SO GOOD, so was the coffee/syrup. I spent all week lamenting the lack of vegetarian food around while in town for a conference. I had their food on the last day and it was amazing, I wish I had been eating there
