This park is basically just a well-groomed, grassy acre with a killer ocean view. There is a port-a-potty, but no other facilities. There is also an "oasis" of palm trees in the middle of the green space. It's the perfect spot to set up some chairs and chill. You can also explore the cliffs and hang out there. Great spot for fishing (I caught a moi here) and whale watching. Also, green sea turtles love to congregate in this cove.

This a great place to kick the ball or walk the dog. They keep the grass mowed. The view of the ocean is dynamic. Sunrises (and some sunsets) are gorgeous from this location. Waves are always creating a marvelous show along the cliff shoreline. Limited parking and facilities (a port a potty).

For a simple neighborhood hang out or meet up. Cell reception is fine for phone and usually ok for video. Portapotty is serviced. No direct beach access but there are some sandy patches tucked around rock cliffs. Great spot for kids to run around, racing games, pretend adventures. I see dolphins there pretty often, more in the spring.

Love this park at the end of the 'hood. Everything I go there I see turtles banging into the cliffs just to get a bite to eat! It helps me appreciate the life we have and gives me hope that people could be more like the Honu, patient, strong and diligent. Turtles have a harsh life, plus they're delicious!🤨

This is an epic Hawaiian Park. Perfect place to lounge under palm trees in your hammock, play fetch with the pup and get lost in an ocean view. No ocean access but some great spots to park and watch for whales or dolphins at cliffs edge. Porta potty that's clean. Family friendly. I can't get enough of this park.

Hidden gem. Great place for a picnic - bring a blanket and sit in the shade. Then walk across the grass to see the ocean waves crashing along the cliffs! Surreal.

Small neighborhhod park on the ocean. Particularly good at sunset. It's a nice place to meet some neighbors & talk story while watching the waves.

I am proud of what my grandfather accomplished here long before it was ever Kahakai park. 21 years ago it was over grown with 4 foot tall weeds etc bad spot with drugs/dealers. He endeavored to take care of it and create a place for all to enjoy and cut down on the drugs so kids wouldn't be as affected. I'm glad it's a park now and a legacy he can leave behind that I will always be able to tell my kids about. Rest in Peace grandpa. You will never be forgotten.

The highlight of the park. We parked at Lava Tubes and started straight down into the crater. Our plan was to do a loop by circling back on the canyon rim trail. In retrospect, I should have parked at KÄ«lauea Iki Overlook Parking Lot, because it ha

Beautiful little church with a rich history. There are picnic tables on the side of the church and a singular porta-potty. There’s a sink to wash hands but may or may not have soap. The plants and flowers are so beautiful around the church as well
