Kabob Corner - Featured Reviews (408)
I ordered Quabili Palau for lunch, it was $22 and some change. When I opened the tray it was just a bed of rice with carrots and raisins. I forked my food around looking for the meat and I only found 3 quarter sized pieces of meat. The food was good but I was think they just cut allot of corners and make up prices when you order. I also had to pay 50 cents per small sauces. Over all the rice was good but this place is sketchy, I definitely won’t eat here again.
I love this place—one of my top five places to eat! Used to be a weekly regular years ago and I still remember the taste 4+ years later.
My order is always the chicken kabob thigh (K2) and eggplant side. Sometimes I get the chickpeas too.
K2: The dark meat is tender and easy to cut into—very flavorful. The rice is mild, fragrant, and tasty to eat on its own. The mildness of the rice complements the chicken well. My favorite part is mixing the rice with the oil—it’s like a salty little flavor bomb. Comes with a little salad too. Not pictured: two sauces to dip your chicken in that I can’t find at other kabob places.
Eggplant: The eggplant and veggies are so soft. I love the taste of the oil. It is addicting! Pairs well with the chicken and/or salt. I love ordering extras to eat at home.
Chickpeas: Another good one! The chickpeas are soft in a soup-like sauce. Again, another flavor that pairs well with the saltiness of the main dishes.
Truly, no other kabob place can compare. The side dishes, especially, are on their own level.
The owners are great and friendly to chat with too. You can tell they care about their customers. Though I can’t visit as often, I always hope that they’re well and am happy to see their restaurant survive the pandemic.
I had it to go my first time here and the food was delicious. The owner was a very nice man. Food is fresh and yummy and the give nice portion size . You can tell all is made there
Fantastic gyro wrap with hot pita. Veggies were fresh, soup was great, chickpeas were awesome. This will be my local spot for afghan food from now on.
The own is very friendly, generous, and helpful.
I was able to eat a good vegan meal here.
This place is just great. The k2 (boneless chicken thighs) are breaking apart if you hold it up. The lamb is juicy, and the rice is flavorful, and last but not least, the eggplant is crazy
Our group of 12 people showed up with little notice a long with another bunch of individuals. The staff scrambled to get us all fed in a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious. Our group picked a wide variety of dishes and we're very happy with their meals.
Be aware this is not a fancy place. There's no table service and food is served on disposable plates. But the staff is extremely friendly and seemed to care about the customers.
I can definitely recommend Kabob Corner!
The kabob and lamb were very dry and on top of that, very overpriced. We asked the owner for an adjustment to the rice and he charged us for it. It was more of a self-service restaurant and the place needs to be inspected, it wasn’t the most sanitary. In general, from service to taste, this place was 0.
I've work with Brian for about a year now! I was recommended to him for body building coaching. We've already been through our first competition season together and onto improvement season now. He is quick to reply and easily accessable for questions
