JUSTIN Downtown Tasting Room - Wine bar in Paso Robles - 811 12th St, USA

We were visiting Paso Robles & we reserve wine tasting three hours before it closed & so we’re so happy they accept us. THANK YOU SO MUCH. The lady told us they are full ant the moment and she decided to take us into called “Speak Easy” were like okay 👌. I know what is speak easy but others am with don’t have an idea. (Speak easy is a hidden place). On speak easy room was quiet, dramatic lights & you think nobody there but about 6 seconds wow.. most tables are full. Got lucky one high table available for us. They had a display variety sizes of wines and love the design of the room. We order cheese platter and served with the introduction about the wine. End up we order 6 bottles of Red Wines. We were super enjoyed every minute of it. Unexpected great experiences. Note: parking was tight during weekend. Overall experience, wine is fantastic, place and server make more even wonderful. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 thank you again.

In my opinion you CAN NOT visit Paso without going to the Justin downtown. The atmosphere is perfect for a casual afternoon with your wife or husband and can also double as a very romantic date. The service is always top tier, we’ve only been a few times but we’ve never felt like we were treated bad. Staff is very attentive and helps guide you through the tasting without making you feel dumb or like you shouldn’t be there hahaha. The chocolate pairing is insanely delicious, I still have never had chocolate as good to this day. The wine is our favorite, and you get good discounts when visiting the store in person. Over all anybody in Paso must come down and give their tasting room a try

Really fantastic experience! We stopped by and did an impromptu dessert pairing with wine. The wines matched beautifully with the chocolates and our server/ sommelier Elissa made our experience next level. Her knowledge was amazing and really helped us understand the wine, pairing and made the whole experience exceptional. Beautiful space and really fun!

Server rushed us to order food and wine at lunch time. Very tasty food and wine! We sat at a very awkward table by the window. Seat was too small and too far away from the table.

We were really looking forward to coming here and sad we had such an awful experience. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and vibe was not welcoming. The hostess was a bit annoyed we had less people than originally reserved even though we called to adjust the seat count. But our server was the just cherry on top. He was disengaged and standoffish from the moment we sat down. We had questions that he just ignored and didn’t explain any of the wines during our flight and seemed he wanted nothing to do with us or anyone for that matter. It really ruined our experience. This is an overpriced sub par establishment and you are better off pretty much anywhere else than here. Like wine just because it’s expensive doesn’t mean it’s good. I hope that server can take a nap or renew his Zoloft prescription before heading back to work.

AMAZING DINNER! We were in town and didn’t know Justin tasting room also served dinner. We order the Ribeye, it’s so tender and tasty, it was so big too! We weren’t sure if you should order two dinners cause we weren’t really hungry but being there we had to try their food and no regrets! The mushrooms were so tasty and prepared on a different way. Originally we ordered the mashed potatoes but it was late and the server told us they ran out, I decided to go for the Mac N chess with chorizo and Gosh it was good! Server recommended the reserve Cab with the meal and it was a excellent pairing, delicious wine. The tasting room it’s to modern and nice to spend a nice dinner or just go have some wine. Next time we’re doing the tasting for sure, everything was excellent, thank you!

Love the service! We also visited the estate for tasting but came back to the downtown spot to purchase arwine. So much more friendly and attentive we decided to give them our business! Next trip we will stay downtown so we can taste downtown instead of the winery! Very knowledgeable staff!!

Very frustrating experience. We arrived without a reservation, but just as this opened. 5 of us were shoved in a small booth, which was ok. But given the lack of traffic (including no new customers between our arrival and departure), this was too bad. We were then told the server would not be able to do a tasting for us since there were two people “in Front of us.” Pretty sure he could have handled it. Given that he was sitting down behind the bar for most of our visit. Anyway, we had a couple glasses of nice wine. There was no food available, even snacks, and we left. Great wine and terrible and really rude service. We were pretty excited to take home a couple bottles or join their club. We did neither. I’d avoid this place even if you find other venues for their nice wine.
