I wish I could give 10 stars, “Mama” is definitely a mama of all; From the amazing service to the delicious food. Mama treated us just like family. I absolutely loved every minute we spent in this greatness of an atmosphere. It’s worth every dollar, every mile, and every smile and laugh that was shared. This is my new go to home for soul food. Mama we will forever be another set of your children added. Thank you for your graciousness. So much love.

Enjoyed my meal at my classmates restaurant....the porkchop was on point especially the cornbread and the green beans and the potatoe salad was tastyas well...😁

This is my 3rd time and the food amazing. On point like mama’s. Highly recommend anyone that wants soul food nearby fairburn, Dalla Hwy. I will Continue to come here often. Staff are good . It got busy but staff took care of them pretty fast. Im a martial arts Instructor i teach from 7 to 12 13-17 and 18- and older. Women self defense also. Location at Boundary water Aquatics Center.

We were traveling back to Augusta, not knowing how this food would taste. I have to say they did their thang. We will be back enjoyed everything.

I am sharing my experience not so much as to be critical, but to give ownership some insight from a customer's perspective. Upon entering, there was no warm greeting. The young lady at the register had such an unpleasant attitude. My daughter and I were asking her questions regarding the menu and her answers short and dry. She didn't smile or show any enthusiasm. My daughter asked her something about a lemonade in the cooler and her response, "you can go over there and get it." It wasn't what she said, but how she said it made me realize in that very moment, I would not be returning. I spent over $65 dollars in this establishment, which appears to be a small family business, and the lack of customer service was disappointing. It's vital as a small business owner to have great customer service and make your customers feel welcomed. The lack there of will destroy your small business. In addition, their health department score was 83, food was just okay and my daughter found a very long piece of hair in her vegetables. I will no longer patronize this establishment.

I visited last weekend with my family and dined in. It was our first time eating at Just Like Mama's. The food was really good. I had deep fried ribs, cabbage, cornbread, and macaroni and cheese. The peach cobbler and red velvet cake were really good, too. No complaints on the food. I only wish the restaurant was a little cleaner, but if you're looking for good food and quick and friendly service, definitely recommend it.

This was my first time experience and I got a excellent first impression. It was clean and the owner was playing some good old school music. We engaged in conversation and she made us feel like we were at Grandma house. I'm a foodie and very picky. She satisfied my craving for "Real Soul Food". My turkey wing was tender, seasoned just right, not salty. Just Like Mama's is a hidden gem 💎 in Douglasville. Come try them out if you want some REAL down home cooking.

We were heading home from our family trip to six flags and looking for a place with some fresh southern cooking and came across Just Like Mama’s. So glad we did! They were so nice and genuinely happy to see my big family walk through the doors. So many people don’t seem excited when I walk in with all my kids but Samantha and her family welcomed ours like we were part of their family. Everything we had was delicious and my kids filled up on meatloaf, baked chicken, chicken tenders, and slow cooked oxtails. And the sides were part of the show too! Some of the best mashed potatoes, yams, green beans, cabbage, and my favorite was the mixed vegetables. Topped it off with banana pudding. Kids left wishing it was closer to our home so we could come back. Had to tell them next time we came to six flags we will have to stop here again! Thank you all for a warm welcome and some delicious filling food!
