Very nice and quiet, there is access to water, some picnic tables with grills. It was not overcrowded on a hot Saturday afternoon, compared to another spots. Beautiful views. But the bathroom, omg, it's disgusting. Never seen any public restroom so dirty and smelly.

It was cold crisp and beautiful, but at this spot you can get close to the lake and take photos.

Unbelievable views of Big Bear lake. This park gives you access to the Alpine Pedal trail, which runs around the lake. Park here and there are many access points to go directly down to the water.

It's a really beautiful spot. There's about 4 picnic tables nestled under the trees, all with grills and views of the lake. There's a paved walk way and also a dirt path that takes you to the lake. Don't be discouraged if you're not able to get a table right away, people usually just rest and eat for a bit and continue on. Other than the views, the blue jays and squirrels that surrounded us were a delight to watch with my little ones. A big question I noticed everyone was asking was if there was a need for an adventure pass for parking? And there was no definitive answer. But we had one just in case and also fishing licenses.. One more thing, the regular public restrooms are closed due to covid but they do have 4 porta pottys, I recommend bringing wipes of all kinds. Enjoy 🌸🤙🏽

Great picnic area with incredible lake views and easy shoreline access. This is a scenic point along the Alpine Pedal Path, a 5 mile round trip walk that goes along the lake and through the forest. A spot where people get out to walk, bike, and enjoy nature, but definitely not overly crowded. There's easy access to a parking lot or free parking on the highway that directly accesses the Juniper Point Picnic area.

Such a beautiful place to sit and connect with nature. Make sure you bring a chair to sit on. You can meditate with the sounds of water hitting the shore.

Great place wish I would have had more time to visit this location.

Great small hike in the big bear area. Plenty of parking on one side of the trail head. Offers good views of the lake from up close on an easy evening hike. Would check out if you are in town!

A great place down the street where fun is available for all ages. Took my neice and nephew recently even in the snow and we had a blast. Clean updated area and kids equipment. Great place all seasons. Especially when you can have a family picnic.

I wish it had been open, but we enjoyed the private setting where it’s located ! We were able to walk to it and enjoy a coffee with lake views.

Small but cute park especially for birthday parties or family gatherings. This is my family's go to place for warm weather fun and BBQ’S. There are live animals on the out-skirts (other side of the fence) and the kids love it.
