If you are a Elvis fan like me you need to visit this place. I was getting lost in all of the wonderful pictures and history. And Elvis impersonator!! He did a great job. Love the food I know I ate way too much. Service was fast and friendly. They took care of a party of 50 people and they kick butt. Keep up the great work guys! Will be coming back very soon!

When we go through Gatesville, we most often stop at Junction on Route 36 for a meal. Over the last few years, we've tried most items on the dinner menu. The burgers and the dinner entrees are very good. I eat salads often, and the Buffalo Chicken salad is a winner. All of the burgers are great. I am anxious to try the breakfast menu sometime soon. This place is worth the trip.

To start off we were offered a table or booth, we chose a booth. Bad call, the seat was so uncomfortable and we were almost hidden from the rest of the place. My back was aching after dinner was over. The food was prepared well and delicious. But unfortunately it must have sat in the window for a while, the fries were cold and the entree was just warm. It took days for our waitress to bring our check so by the time we got it we had no more give a darn to hopefully talk to the manager. Bottom line... Don't choose a booth, hope your server is on the ball and food is good, I have liked everything I have eaten here.

Let me start by saying this place has the best atmosphere. I love the way it was decorated. The chandeliers are gorgeous. This place is not pretentious at all. Wear your best western gear. Jeans and a Stetson work great here. Some days they have live music. This was my second visit to Junction 36. The first time I came I ordered the club sandwich and fries. They were delicious. The second time, I ordered hamburger steak with fries and corn. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the food is cause the outer part of my hamburger steak was hard. It came with the gravy on the side. I enjoyed it without the gravy and gave my gravy to my love to enjoy with his pork chop dinner. Would I come here again? Absolutely time and time and time again. It’s a great place to gather with friends, double dates, first dates, family gatherings, dinners solo and so much more.

Omg! This was absolutely the best burger! Mushrooms Swiss double meat yummy in my yummy! Owwwwwweeeee best burger I had in a long time! Price was reasonable! Ribbon fries was crunchy! Man!!! Yall did yall thang and custom service with our waitress was on it and amazing! Owners yall can tell you have a great staff!! From the food to the service!!!!🤪❤️💪🏼

There were 4 of us for dinner. I had chicken fried steak, mashed potato’s, and fried okra. Absolutely amazing!!! One of us had the jalapeño hamburger, the others shared chicken fried chicken. Also excellent. I’m sorry no pictures this time, the food screamed out: eat me now!!!!! This was my first time there, we’re already talking about our next meal there (it’s a half hour drive) We had the blueberry flapjack cake for a shared dessert. Amazing!!

Our prison ministry team eat here at Route 36 every time we're in Gatesville Texas and every time we go it's a complete Joy. I'm really thankful for the staff and the people. Their personalities are Amazing 😊❤️❤️

It’s a nice quiet place to sit during the week. There is a sign saying pay before you cross the dam but no one around to pay and no price given. Being from the north east I saw trash all over the place and was discouraged as my wife and I were just here to have a small picnic so we both picked up the trash washed our hands with drinking water before we sat down to eat. Like most west Texas cities we have seen no pride in where people live and they just allow their trash to be blown everywhere and just throw their trash wherever they please.
