If you are in the Essex location or staying at the resort, this is a MUST!! Such a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Everything tasted absolutely incredible and the staff were extremely knowledgeable on the items that were being served. The chefs interacted with our table and we loved the whole experience. They made our trip worth while! PS, their signature dish, the seared duck breast, is to die for!!
First time eating at Junction, it was great. The server was amazing. The dessert was definitely the best thing I've had in a very long time.
Always a great experience here. Staff is always so friendly, atmosphere is nice, and food is always delicious. The duck is a must have.
Needs more vegan food but the stuff they have is good
Excellent food and quirky decor. Posh hotel located on beautiful grounds. There's a tavern next door that's supposed to have superior pub food; looking forward to trying it. In warmer months they have outside seating which I think would be lovely. Overall a tasty, fancy (pricey), place with interesting decor. There are places downtown church that I'd probably go to for upscale dining over this as it's out of the way for us but if you're staying or live in the area I think it's a treat worth trying.
We stayed at the Essex Resort & Spa for our anniversary weekend, and made dinner reservations at Junction as it was promoted to be an interactive restaurant. We had called and asked if it would be possible to move our reservation time up by a half hour, which they were unable to accommodate. We understood, but then were surprised when we arrived and there was only one other table of guests seated in the restaurant. I'm assuming they're suffering from staffing shortages, but it was a bit strange. Regardless, the menu had some nice choices, and we landed on the tomahawk for 2. The whole night we were anticipating the interactive aspect of this restaurant experience, but that never happened. It was just a typical dining experience, which they did a great job at, but it was just a small letdown when it was advertised as something different, especially considering this was our anniversary dinner and I wanted to make it special. Maybe it usually is more interactive, but because of COVID it's not? The kitchen was open and you could see the chefs cooking, but unfortunately we weren't seated close enough to really watch them. We were very happy with the food, hence the 4 stars, and I appreciated that there was a Yelp check-in offer available. It was a nice option to have staying at the Essex, but I think if they hadn't marketed it as something more than it was, I would've been happier with my experience.
We had a fantastic experience. They do small seating's with an open kitchen. When we dined on a Tuesday night their was a single waitress which gave it a very intimate feeling. The food was amazing, the steak with bone marrow butter was outrageous. We will definitely be dining here again!
Junction is the Pinnacle experience in the "culinary resort" known as Essex Junction. We have been many times now, and while pricey, the food is always excellent and the service is usually good. You will get items here that you will be hard-pressed to even find in other restaurants in surrounding Vermont. Their chef Nicole is top-notch and super friendly. Sit at the chef's table if you can.
Boxcar Bakery is a wonderful place. The women that run it, along with their employees, are very kind and clearly hard working. Everything I've had whether it's sweet or savory, or even a drink, has been great. They have awesome seasonal delights as w
Where do I even start with this perfect place? Salt & Bubbles is such a joy and such an important part of the Essex Experience revamp. Not only is it a great spot to stop on your way home for a delicious wine, but they also have super tasty lunches w
I've been a regular here for two years. Outstanding food and service every time. I gravitate towards their naan and curry dishes. Lots of great vegetarian options. Just understand that they do get very busy during peak dinner hours.
Basic pho and Vietnamese options. The food was a bit bland, and didn't have that wonderful layer of flavors that I've been accustomed to. The wait time was short, the prices were on the high side, but the service was friendly and professional. All in
The sign outside Eat good food HERE says it all! Order at the counter, get your coffee, then pick a table - outside if weather permits. A server will bring your food and it was just delicious. We both had the chorizo omelette which was downright tas
