I checked into my room and was immediately uncomfortable. There were so many things wrong from the open gap under the door (allowing bugs and critters in) to the toilet seat not attached the the toilet to the cigarette butts in the ashtrays outside. I am sure I could go on but I decided to leave mostly because I didn't feel safe on my own. I made calls the next few days to get a refund only to be told "the boss didn't show up today". My last call I was told that I had stayed in the room too long for a refund. I was there for 40 minutes while I tried to figure out where to stay. Not once have I been asked why I left or why I want a refund. They don't care.

I have driven by this place many times and decided to stay here this trip. The outside looks very inviting. The inside, not so much. The room had an odd smell. Better with open windows and fan. Bathroom recently renovated, very nice. Linens were poor quality. The rest of the room could use new paint and a good clean around the edges. Expensive.

Stayed here in mid July for 2 nights. This is an older motel so it does not have the amenities of any of the major chain hotels. When we arrived, the room was blazingly hot. The air conditioner (in the closet) worked fairly well and cooled the room to a comfortable setting. I'm a musician and get to stay in all kinds of hotels and motels across the land and I must say this place has charm. Sure, the rooms are small but everything worked and the bed was quite comfortable.I would certainly stay here again. I found the owner to be accommodating and friendly. I recommend the Frog to anyone looking for a simpler time. The door still uses a key.

First off, I made a reservation months ago directly with the hotel. A while later I received a call that I was quoted the wrong price and it was going to be more. Because I had to have room I said okay. I felt this was not getting off to a good start. ||||After a hot two and a half hour drive I arrived at the motel to check in. (Be careful entering and especially exiting). I was told "the boss" cancelled my room. The woman remembered talking to me and didn't know why he cancelled it. She pulled the reservation slip out and read the notes. So now I have my $50 event ticket thinking I will be sleep in my car.||||She says she can put me in the family room but will close off two beds. Then she said the TV doesn't work (it turns out the TV is fine but the Direct TV only wants to show advertising channels like Time Life music). I said fine. The WiFi works, right? She says, no not really, because of homeschooling kids (school is out in California and it was the weekend). Mind you, the two night cost is almost $200 with tax.||||The WiFi did occasionally connect. And then disconnect. My phone was on Edge and not much help (ATT).||||Thankfully I had my e-reader.||||I see the room. Small. A door to another room (the other beds?), small, especially the bathroom, but adequate. There is a coffeemaker (dust covered and an old coffee pod still in it), a small refrigerator and a small microwave. But the bed was comfortable and there is decent wood furnishings.||||This is a non-smoking establishment. All the rooms. With tables, chairs and ash trays right outside the doors. Fortunately, the smoke did not filter into my room. The ashtrays were full. I asked and was told they try to house smokers together. I don't recall being asked. ||||The hot water faucet valve wouldn't stay on. But there was hot water and that was nice.||||It is a pretty quiet location. There is a grocery and pharmacy and food down the street. Be careful walking if you do. I was almost nailed in the crosswalk.

In August, 2019, I payed $110 + to stay at this motel in Angels Camp, California, which describes itself as "budget-friendly" . It is an older motel and some would say it is "quaint," but I found it to be just run-down and lacking in good basic amenities. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the towels were old and extremely thin. There was dirt in the corner of the bathroom. When I checked in the woman that helped me wasn't particularly friendly. On the plus side, the air-conditioning was good and the motel is convenient to many stores and restaurants.||||I stayed at this motel last year in August and was charged $79 + which made it marginally reasonable, but how can the owners justify a $30 a night price increase in one year? I definitely won't stay here again.

Stayed Sat / Sun. Quiet and restful. Very comfortable bed. Pillows just right. Nice bathroom. Great shower water pressure. Fun to experience the motor court motel style where you can park your car in front of your room. Friendly owner. AMAZING nice and cold A/C System in 105 degree temperature!

Pretty much what you'd expect when booking an old style "mom and pop" motel. Older property, reasonably maintained. Small rooms with minimum amenities - but all you need. Friendly check in. Parking right in front of your room - which is great when traveling by motorcycle. The room was quiet and clean. Water pressure in the shower was a positive surprise! Wifi worked well. As with most of these old style hotels, there are really not enough electric outlets to charge all the toys. Great location in walking distance to "downtown" restaurants.

Pretty clean. Somewhat run down. The toilet would occasionally loudly refill. The shower had very low water pressure. Fine given the low rate. The pillows had plastic covers under the pillow cases, but were very loud and crinkly. The heater worked well and quickly heated the room. WiFi initially gave 35Mbps, but after 15 minutes dropped to 3Mbps.

While thrilled that Crusco's had reopened, we weren't sure what to expect in light of the recent poor reviews. Happily we had a very different experience. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, our experience was exceptional. Beth,

Get the Chile rellenado. You won't regret it. We were looking for a Mexican restaurant that had good reviews and this was beyond my expectations. Chile rellenado can be hit or miss but I'm very satisfied with my experience. Service was great. Mexic
