Jumbo's Diner - Restaurant in Gouverneur - 1 E Main St, USA

We have been passing this diner since it opened on the drive from Fort Drum to Potsdam, but we never had enough time to stop. Today, we did, and wow, it was such a treat! The aesthetic is amazing, and the food was truly a delight. My husband and I got buffalo chicken wraps, my toddler got a grilled cheese that had me envious 🤣, and the 6 year old had chicken tenders and fries. The food was all delicious, the staff was outstanding, and we can not wait to stop in again to try the fried green beans!

Stopped into jumbos on a snowy morning. The dining room was busy, but we were seated immediately. Waitress very attentive. The coffee was hot and delicious - my mug was refilled throughout breakfast. While the menu isn’t very large, the food we did have was delicious. Classic American diner - would recommend!!

If you are questioning humanity, go here! We literally broke down outside of this restaurant. The staff came out and pushed our car into a parking spot and as we contimplated what was next with no open garage or open motel near by, the staff coveted us, fed us and even offered their own vehicle to help us get to a near by town. Actually, an hour away!! Who is kind enough to offer that?? I was beyond stressed and they fed my family and tolerated me. Kindness was the entirety of our experience there! Their beautiful child proved that kindness is taught as this beautiful little girl went above and beyond taking care of a stressed out crew. They refused payment, they demonstrated a level of kindness of strangers that we no longer know and this family will never forget them! Go to this restaurant! You will be so lucky to know this kind of generosity!

So glad to find this place after a beautiful bike ride in the surrounding area. What a great find! Very cute inside, super nice server, and the BLT and burger we had for lunch really hit the spot. Plus, they have an in house baker and we bought 3 donuts and a giant cookie for the road. We will definitely be back!

Ordered chicken bacon ranch salad. Changed 8.99 for salad, then charged me 6.99 more saying chicken was extra. Under salad it says what is in salad. And of course Chicken was included in chicken, bacon ranch. Asked waitress about it She said in was a printing error. Bs, why deceive customers. If it's a typo then it should be edited on the menue. Or at least you could tell customers about Typo when they order. Not when I am ready to pay. Never coming here again.

Stopped here on a ride through the town. We are not from the area and a friend suggested Jumbos :) What a beautiful inside this place has! I was glad to see a small selection so deciding what to eat was painless lol Our breakfast came out and everything was done PERFECT and tasted GREAT! The prices were good and the portions were filling . Thank you for a wonderful breakfast! I hope to be back someday

The place has been completely redone inside and looks wonderful. The burger was really good sized and cooked so that was nice and juicy. The onion rings were also done wonderful and the breading had a good flavor.

Absolutely loved this place! My wife and I went in for breakfast and the place was extremely clean (incl the restrooms) and the service and the food was amazing, My wife had the cinnamon roll french toast and it was so good!! I had a great omelet with incredible potatoes they serve and a side of sausage. It was all amazing and very reasonably priced.
