Jumbo Jimmy's Crab Shack - Crab house in Port Deposit - 1065 Bainbridge Rd, USA

The propane tank out back blew up, entire building burnt to the ground, fire companies as far as Delaware were sending tankers, water was only fueling the fire. Gonna miss that place, best crabs, the old owner was the best, never let us down. Watched the whole place go up from Red Barn Road, sad.

Walked in and seated ourseleves, instance service and drinks, and food was about 20 minutes later. Pretty good for seafood. We sat outside which was very open and welcoming and it’s own entity and bar apart from the inside area. Service was great, thanks Tony! It looks like it had a great nightlife, will be back!

We found this place while driving back to NJ from DC and boy were we pleased. Right off the main road, the lady was so welcoming because we had our dog with us. She set up tables for us and got us refreshers since we’d been on the road a while. She made good food recommendations and we were very happy with our meal. Friendly family atmosphere and freshly made crab cakes, fish sandwiches and so on. They even came out toddlers some stickers to keep him busy. We really love finding places on our travels and this is one we will visit again on our way back!

My family went here tonight for dinner..place was completely packed as they was hosting a fundraiser for a local lady & even though all the workers was extremely busy we still was served with smiling faces and good service. Food timing wasn’t a bad wait and everything was so good. There was children teenagers adults and some elderly we sat outside at a picnic table and our baby played in the grass area behind the tiki bar while we waited. Will be going back, highly recommend if you are in the area to stop in and give it a try.

The food was excellent but the service was outstanding. Our server, Kaitlyn was so busy with so many customers yet she handled everything with so much composure and grace under fire. She made us feel like we were the most important people in the room yet we could see how she had so many customers. This was absolutely the best service I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this restaurant mainly because of the great service!

Haven't been here in years, decided to have a family dinner out and give it another whirl. Being that this time of year is out of season for most of the seafood, they still have plenty of land options. It is on the pricer side; however they do have larger portions. I had the fish and chips, they were huge filets and crispy. I will admit, they were seasoned with quite a bit with salt. The coleslaw was yummy, could have had a bowl of it. My hubby had the belly buster cheeseteak, which it was huge! Packed with meat and toppings. He was very pleased with it. My dad had the stuffed shrimp which he said was very good. Our daughter went with a hotdog. The kids menu prices are great, not over priced like you usually find. It is that old school bar set up with cafeteria style dining area, all open with tables. However, the dives are the spots with the good food! Our service was quick and friendly.

I've been here twice, the first time was a year and a half ago. And I believe the menu has shrunk. But I enjoyed both meals. The first time I was inside at the bar, and had Chicken Chesapeake. The second time I was outside at the tiki bar and had the steam pot. Service outside was great, we were welcomed and got everything we needed. Tony was our server he was friendly and attentive.

We had an excellent lunch with plenty of food and outstanding service. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. They happened to have pit beef and pit ham and it was delicious. We all enjoyed the cream of crab soup as well as other entrees/sandwiches.
