The food was amazing and the service was the best I’ve had in forever. The staff is super efficient, quick, and great conversationalists. I came a half hour before close and the place was busy but they took care of everyone really quickly. When ordering the staff is amazing and even give suggestions on how to best prep and eat your food, which I appreciated. The part that blew me away was when a guy was hesitating to come into the restaurant because he was in the parking lot 4 mins before they closed and one of the staff opened the door and encouraged him to come in and make his order. Great place with great food and staff. I don’t live on the island but if I did, I would eat there every week.

We opted for this place to grab some dinner on our way back to Seattle after a long day on the island. We were dreading the wait based on other reviews but it was not too bad when we got there. We were amused by this guy who was building burritos, single handedly and at a fantastic pace, all while making sure to greet customers in line, with a warm greeting and a pleasant smile. On our turn, my friend and I (vegetarian) were told the rice had chicken stock in it. While we were in a fix, he quickly offered to cook us some fajita veggies as a substitution and mentioned they were cooked in vegetable oil. This man deserves more than 5 stars for his empathy and customer service skills. Everything tasted phenomenal and fresh. Loved their hot salsa- it was hot indeed. My friends opted for Jumbo burritos with meat (which are massive btw) and they relished every bite. One of us decided to get some tacos before they closed and were given it as a complimentary. A great family run business all in all and left us amazed at the hospitality and great service along with quality food options. Clean and well maintained restrooms too! Definitely coming back when we are in the area.

Everything about Jumbo Burrito is rave-worthy. Yes, the food is fresh, flavorful and fantastic, but I think it’s the service and exuberance in the atmosphere that really set them apart. Everybody feels like family in this place. They are always kind, fun, and energetic. They love helping customers get their favorite item made just right, or try something new with encouragement. Our kids love this place for the flavors and fun treats they have all throughout the restaurant and adjoining market. We can’t say enough good things about Jumbo Burrito and the loving people who keep it running smoothly even at the busiest times. To top it all off, they keep it super clean (including the bathrooms) and if you aren’t a huge eater, you might just get two meals out of one menu item.

Okay so my husband has been raving about this place and today we drove for 2 hours just to try it and it was so worth it! The food and everything else was beyond amazing. The quesobirria was the best I've ever had and the al pastor taco was juicy and very flavorful. Can't wait to be back to try other things here.

This is the best Mexican food place on Whidbey without a doubt, with the best Birria and Cali burrito I’ve had to-date. My old roommate Nina took me here once and this has been my go-to spot whenever I’m in town. Come hungry, and thirsty, because they have just about any cold beverage you can think of, plus Mexican ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. Jumbo is a family-owned restaurant, and it shows. Everything is made with love and the best ingredients. If you’re having a good day, head to Jumbo Burrito. If you caught your mans cheating, head to jumbo burrito. The food was fast, super delicious and extra fresh. The folks were so friendly and caring. Not sure the last time I ran into such outstanding customer service. Even asked if my kiddo wanted fries with her food (that didn't come with fries). We needed a pick me up and man did they deliver and then some. Can't wait to go back.

This is hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant in town. They are so welcoming the moment you walk into the doors. They serve only the freshest quality of food that never disappoints. They have been my go-to every time our family eats out.

This is my first type mexican food, best experience bruh. I recommend for everyone. And the servers were nice and have attention to detail.
