This place is just adorable. The decor makes you feel right at home. The food makes you feel like you're in heaven. The biscuits for so fresh and soft, and I have no words for the apple butter. All of our food was wonderful!
Read so many great things about Julie’s Place, and it was even better than we expected. The atmosphere was so cool; especially all the sunflowers. My husband and I both had the fried chicken livers, and they were wonderful. The homemade biscuits and warm apple butter were superb. Our server was the best. She was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be repeat customers! Thank you for an excellent experience!!!
There's something for everyone here . I'm vegan and got the veggie plate with 4 sides and my friend ordered a meatloaf platter. Fried pickles as appetizer. The food was AMAZING! Excellent service too!
The food was fantastic and felt like quality comfort food. I got the Whisky River Chicken Tenders and was not disappointed!
I may be traveling back to Murphy, NC just to have another plate!
Today’s culinary experience went very well. Homemade biscuit with warm apple butter came in two shakes of a lamb’s tail along with my sweet tea. Two catfish filets lightly battered, collards and redskin mashed potatoes with white gravy were my menu choices and boy were they good! A gentleman who has a 72 shovel head stopped by and we had a nice conversation. BTW a 72 shovel head is a Harley just visualize the Easy Rider bike.
This place is AMAZING! The hardest part is deciding what to order off their fantastic selection! Britney our server was just awesome! She took such good care of us and was very helpful on entree selections! The owner Julie welcomed us and was very nice. This place is very clean and welcoming. You can not go wrong! We will be back next trip thru the mountains! ❤️
Great food, good service, and cozy atmosphere! Great variety of meals and sides to select from. The people at table next to me were drooling over at how good my fried chicken looked. I’ll definitely go back and will recommend this place to others.
This place is amazing. And I will return! Food is fresh and hot. Service is fast and friendly. Best biscuits I've ever had in a restaurant.
Decided to try this place while passing through on our travels. Nice chill vibe. Has that "where the locals go" feel about it. We ordered the loaded baked potato and added bbq to it for an additional $4. It's totally worth it. It was delicious! Defin
It is actually the Cherokee and Early Settler Historical Museum. It was three dollars per adult to enter and was worth every cent and more. We spent the better part of a day exploring their two floors of awesome relics and still didn't see it all. I
Loved the way it was presentable. Rooms very clean & enjoyable. Manager very nice. Brought fruit, apples, bananas, muffins & breakfast bars to room. If you left your room to go somewhere, it was cleaned up & bedding changed. Will go again when going
Beautiful trails. The road going to the trails could be marked a little better, and more signage at the parking lot to let you know you're actually there. Rode all of them, but Roto trail would be my favorite. No restroom ð¥º

Haven't eaten at a Capt D in many years. Stopped in ordered garlic shrimp and a piece of fish, slaw, and broccoli. Pretty good stuff for a fast food fish joint.
