Wish I could give this place 1 million stars. Got the BBQ platter and everything was great after a hike. However, I’d say it serves closer to 4 than 6-8 as advertised. Walking around it looked like about half the tables had pizza which also looked great can’t want to go back and try that too.

Nice place to relax and eat some food and drink a beer! You can sit inside or sit outside and enjoy the environment! I ate the delicious pizza and hubby had the pulled pork. My friends all enjoyed our meals as you can see from our clean plates!!!! What a nice place...

Food is always solid here. We got the pork ribs, smoked brisket, kielbasa, Hawaiian Bread rolls and potato salad along with two pints of Julian's Signature Hard Apple Cider. The ribs were a little dry today, but everything else was delicious, well seasoned and most satisfying. The seating is very spacious and relaxed with plenty of outdoor and indoor options. I always find myself making a stop here anytime I visit Julian

Julian Beer Co truly impressed me with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The abundance of seating areas provided ample choices for relaxation, and I was able to find the perfect spot to unwind. However, I must admit that the dry brisket left something to be desired in terms of tenderness and flavor. Despite this minor setback, the overall experience at Julian Beer Co was delightful. Parking can be challenging on a busy day.

Good food, good beer, dog friendly, met all my expectations. Prices reasonable, only con is long line for order i get the food part but if you need more beer i wouldn’t go to that line again, so i didn’t in fact i could drink more than a beer. We got bbq meats with some sides and overall satisfied, good stop for food if you’re visiting the julian, and next door is pie company so its a plus.

Really nice IPA that I tried, will have to come back to try the many other options. The artichoke pizza was really good too. My one gripe is that both the online and in-store payment processes include by default an 18% gratiuity, yet you order at the counter, pick up your own food at the counter, and are expected to clean off your own table afterwards with bins provided for both trash and trays/utensils. As an Australian, I've never been a fan of the tipping system as waiters tend to rush through to their next tip. But it's a whole different level when I'm expected to pay for the experience of fully servicing myself.

Long queue to order food, long queue for the restroom, long queue to get food... We waited for our food for over 30-40 minutes! Ridiculous! Was looking forward to enjoying a humbling meal in Julian, but this was just terrible. Difficult to find seating indoors and outdoors. Brisket was OK, the carnitas was more tender. Chicken was tough.
