What a great find. The food here is fantastic and so is the service. Just like moms home cooking, I highly recommend. But they do close daily at 3:00pm Breakfast all day.
This hidden gem is the most authentic Mexican and Old School Tex-Mex to be found anywhere. Great enchiladas, pozole, mole, migas, pastor and much more! Owner is also very involved in the community. Refrescas and Tea are phenomenal, as well!
Our first time dining here was great. We enjoyed the (delicious) food and the wait staff were very attentive.We highly recommend Juanita's if you're in the area.
The food was tasty and our waitress provided good service. Unfortunately, our visit ended on a sour note due to a young girl who was bussing tables. She asked if she could take my empty plate and I said yes. Then, without asking, she proceeded to dump the rest of my Mexican Coke into my water cup and started taking everything else on the table. I was upset because I wasn't finished with my drinks or finished eating chips and salsa.
In my opinion, Juanita's has the best tacos in Alvin. My personal favorite is the barbacoa. I'm yet to find something I don't like on her menu.
This place has great breakfast and fajitas tacos. The only thing I didn't agree on were $3.99 drinks and we bought what we thought were homemade jalapeno and mango gummy candy in bags at the counter priced at $2 a bag for 4 pieces of candy which we found the exact bag of gummies at 5 below for $1.50.
The food is good but drinks over priced and the fake homemade candy scam and just sad.
I know what I was charged and the cashier claimed home made candy. Sounds like there's more issues than false advertisements at this restaurant.I recommend you check your charges before paying.
Great Tex-Mex food served by great family and friends. Wonderful people work there and serve us like family. They remember you and your favorite meals making this feel like home. Supporting Juanita's supports our community in many ways. They have the best salsa in town. Juanita's Special is the classic dish for everyone!!!
A hidden little gem in Alvin! We have been looking for a Mexican restaurant that serves great authentic Mexican breakfast near us (Friendswood) and stumbled across this place while searching online. Had the chorizo and eggs along with a barbacoa taco. The tortillas were homemade! This is the kind of food I grew up with. The staff was so friendly! Looks like we found our new go-to place for Mexican food.
I love this place! It has GREAT tacos and the staff is friendly. The inside is small but welcoming and the patio is great for larger groups.

Best Chicken Sandwich I've ever had. This is fresh, crisp, spicy, crunchy, tangy, and savory. You need to try this, there's a heat for everybody! Popeye's and Chikfila are no competition! Owner is very nice and he said sides will be coming!
