Joy's Biryani N Kababs - Indian restaurant in Pineville - 212 N Polk St #101, USA

This is a review of my experience. Upon walking in the restaurant, as early as possible to get all food fresh and and without service obstacles. Food came out quickly for my appetizer of the chicken 65. It's a nice dry 65 with a large potion in looks, this is best dry 65, I've had. It's nice and juicy inside with a soft dry outside and this spice level is perfect. I would say whoever cooks and prepared the chicken is great at their job with a skill in Indonesian food. If you try the chicken 65 you may understand why I feel this is a influence on the dish. All the food is halal(cleaned and drained of blood), so naturally the Goat Biryani was the best tasting goat I've had with a nice atomic basmati well seasoned. The chicken kebab is new to me and I will say the dish makes me smile. The food here is amazing 🤩😍. Now I can eat!

It was so good that I ate it all. The best biryani in the entire NORTH CAROLINA. oh my God I still can’t believe it was so good. Perfect mixture of masala, spices rice, and amazing cooked chicken. Truly a hidden Gem.

Charlotte's Indian food scene is really flourishing these days. We tried this thanks to the recommendation of our friend Tonya (where all good Indian food recommendations come from). My husband and I got takeout and shared: - Cheese Masala Dosa - Chili Paneer - Paneer Burji The dosa was probably my favorite (they usually are), but it was all delicious. You can't go wrong here. Next time you're in the mood for Indian (pretty much always for me), check this spot out.

If there was a TV Show that highlighted family owned, small Indian restaurants, Joy's Biryani N Kababs should be on there. Don't let the location and small size fool you - this place packs a punch! I have tried every Indian restaurant in South Charlotte and I am really happy that I decided to check out Joy's. They have been open for about three months but they are operating on all cylinders. The food came out fast and very tasty. Joy actually took care of us during our visit and was great. If you do not know what to order, she will certainly help you select the perfect meal. You have to order Naan with your meal as there is nothing like fresh made hot Naan and their Garlic Naan was excellent. I hope they can maintain the food quality and flavor as this may become my new go to place. I will have to go back and try a Biryani and report back. We had the Achari Panner Tikka Kabab, Chicken Seekh Kabab, Mali Kofta, Panner Pasanda, Veg Kolhapuri, and Garlic Naan. Everything we tried was wonderful and I do look forward to my next visit. Keep it up JOY!!!!!

We were looking for a good Mediterranean restaurant last night and stumbled across Joy’s! WOW was the food, the service and the overall experience WONDERFUL! We had the cauliflower appetizer (Gobi 65), the Pakora, the Mutter Paneer, the Lamb Seekh Kabab (pictured) and the Chicken Malai Kabab (my absolute favorite - I could eat this everyday!). We could not stop talking about how delicious the meal was all night afterwards and how glad we are that we found this gem of a restaurant! I couldn’t recommend it more!! We will DEFINITELY be back and SOON!!

I visited Joy’s Biryani N Kababs on a Thursday afternoon a couple of hours before my flight out of Charlotte. It was a wonderful experience replete with warm hosts, delicious food, and cleanliness inside the restaurant. I got the 555 chicken—it tasted pretty good, I loved the sauce that they finished it with. The Kadhai chicken tasted just the right amount of spicy and hit the spot. The garlic naans were good too. The restaurant is unassuming, and there’s parking outside. I plan to visit this often once I move to Charlotte soon. Thank you for everything.

I was visiting Charlotte and this place is a hidden gem. Family owned business with great taste and generous food portions. I order a chicken 65 biryani and chicken seek kabob. Will def come again if I am around that area . Also food is halal.

A small family owned & run restaurant. We were driving through & checked their menu + reviews, so we gave them a shot. The staff is very friendly & informative. The restaurant is super clean. And the food is to go back to. A serious variety, delicious food & very affordable. We had two entrees & two appetizers. The garlic Naan & paneer paratha are amazing. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back.
