This place better never go out of business! I’ve lived in mokena area most my life and this tops any restaurant in the area! There fried rice is phenomenal, basil chicken and mini spring rolls are fantastic every time I go! Even my boyfriend loved everything! Staff is so friendly too!
Absolutely the best Thai food we've ever had, it was all amazing! We ordered 6 different entrees as it was our 1st time at this restaurant. We loved every single dish and the mango St ky rice was perfect! The owner Joy was wonderful. We'll be back many times as this is our favorite Thai Restaurant!!❤️❤️
This is my favorite Thai restaurant ever! Everthing they make is fresh and flavorfull! Wonderful chicken red curry! And my go to is golden noodle, thats the dish i come back for!!!
Many people have given 4-5 star reviews. I've been twice, both times, just OK. Tom Yum soup decent. Service great.
UPDATE: Joy of Thai will close for about a month or so starting about October 27.
No, they are not going out of business. The owner will travel to their native country to tend to family matters. I hope things go well with them and the family. I offered to do the cooking while they were away. She didn’t take me up on my offer. Oh well...their loss.
I had a bright idea of ordering a few items and keep them in the freezer. This should tide me over while they are away.
I hope they have a safe trip and return quickly. They are really nice people.

We had a taste for Thai food and today we decided to try someplace different.
Joy of Thai is one of three similar type restaurants nearby. Located on the south side of 179th street just east of Wolf Road. It is in a small strip mall, being one of three occupants. We pass by it all the time.
Having tried and being unsatisfied with the other restaurants we had eaten from before. This visit was out very first.
To keep things simple we ordered pork fried rice and pineapple fried rice, a vegetable dish. Both dishes were prepared fresh, were very tasty, and presented in a different style of dish whereby we could actually see what we purchased. The seasoning used reminded my of Indian food with a slight use of curry. Everything was delicious and I can’t believe I consumed the entire dish; each serving was a few hours apart of course.
Would I recommend them? Absolutely.
The carryout experience was smooth and easy. Give them a try. You will enjoy it.
Wonderful service. We had to dash because I'd lost my ring (we found it if your reading! Haha) so they very swiftly packed up our food and were so sweet. I loved the panang noodles and my husband enjoyed the chicken basil rice.
Small place so if you're not good with niche spaces you might not like the local. Friendly staff and the food was amazing. I had the yellow curry and added eggplant that was sumptuous! Will definitely go again.
Food is fresh. Service is fast. True authentic Thai food. The space is very intimate and very clean. Prices are reasonable ranging from $4 - $15 on most menu items.
ROL is an amazing Academy. The instructors are professional and down to earth. They are hands on and teach the fundamental skills in a manner that is fit to their ages. Watching my daughter grow and thrive there the past 3 years has been such a beaut
Love it so much will come back next week. I had a blast and the food was amazing the service was good and the atmosphere was so nice. Will recommend on trying it out. I went with my mother-in-law and we had a blast. We had fries as an appetizer. I h
We ordered a custom cake for my sonâs 6th birthday party and absolutely loved it. Great design and it tasted delicious too! The staff was so kind and made the entire process so smooth and easy. Highly recommend this bakery!
I believe they have a good stock. Very nice employees. Manager is awesome. I follow up with surveys (good) per their requests. The store manager will personally email you back thanking you for your time filling out the survey even if it is good f
Cute place. Bigger inside than it looks. Hot dogs are really good. Decent size. Cheese curds were really good too. Staff was slightly less than friendly but looked like maybe a family run place and the kids werenât too jazzed to be working the coun
Nice people and reasonable prices. Only thing I didnât like was they got rid of the treat bins. My dog loved the peanut butter treats I bought in bulk

You can hardly make anything out of it when you stand in front of the building. But when you walk in, that's a different story. The decor has highlander accents all over. Lots of pictures of polish Tatry mointains with people dressed in their traditi
Oh Yah, Here's Another One! Tasty and a whole different Savory, Wholesome experience for this Foodie! Also, there Yellow Rice- not shown here- is quite good! A Mediterran Twist, that was Delish!
Store was exceptionally clean. Only 2 other people in the store while we shopped, although upon checking out about 3 more groups of people were walking in. Came to get a hard to find item that only GFS and restaurant depots carry. This place always h
