They have some roaches but clean enough if you passing through this place more for truckers and construction workers but it cheap and quiet no bothers your stuff only 300 for a week and the owns the hotel next door and it’s better for only 350 a week it’s little nicer and cleaner and the same far quiet no problem with your vehicle and stuff getting stolen better than staying in West Memphis from what I hear oh and this place have 18 wheelers parking for like 20 dollars a day from my understanding oh yeah WiFi does work good at times its decent
Positive: Nothing Negative: room is dirty, bed was disgusting with cigarette burns on the sheet, felt like it not cleaned. Bathroom barely had a soap (no shampoo etc.) curtain was disgusting with stains all over.
Do not stay here!!! We arrived to the area late in the evening and picked this place since it was one floor. (Wife handicap) the fridge had food still in there which I could have overlooked but in the night I got up to go to the restroom the bathroom door half fell off. My wife uses the toilet and the whole seat falls off! Then we checked out as soon as we woke and when I tell her the issues she says to bad should have checked last night. This place is nasty, and the staff rude.
I'm a seasonal worker and travel often, so I've stayed at my share of budget hotels. This was not a budget hotel, this was a traumatic experience. I have no idea why it was so much worse than the reviews led me to believe. The room definitely hadn't been cleaned, not just that day, but for months. Visible bodily fluids on the toilet seat, on the desk chair. Thick dust in every possible corner and on the bed itself. Broken shelving and sink fixtures. A hole in the wall loosely patched by drywall that is now melting away. Someone else's rotten groceries in the mini fridge. I took my shoes off and regretted it within seconds - the floor dyed the bottom of my socks orange. There's potential here, it's conveniently located off the interstate with a dollar store across the street and the bed was super soft. They just gotta start cleaning the rooms. This is a world where contagious diseases kill people regularly, the sanitation level here is putting lives at risk. I only stayed here because of the thirteen hour drive that preceded my check-in, I advise that others plan better and find somewhere else to rest.
ROACHES WERE EVERYWHERE!! TOILET IS FALLING APART. TV DOESNT WORK STAFF IS RUDE & COULD CARE LESS!!!! NO EXTRA TOWELS, ICE MACHINE WAS SCARY!!! NO GARBAGE CANS IN THE ROOM! LOTS OF RIFF RAFF LOITERING ABOUT. NOT A VERY QUIET ROOM.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The only thing that was good about this stay was the bed, the temp of the water and the lady at the front desk. As we settled into the room we quickly realized that there were several things wrong. Roaches was the main problem at first, because there were several of them. Even in the mini fridge which was also a complete slushy frozen mess in the freezer area. There was mold around the edge of the bathtub! We also made sure to check the bed and it had multiple hairs on the sheets, red hair and dark hairs!! But I seen no sign of bedbugs. Then the next morning, check out is at 11 mind you, there was a knock at the door at about 10:20. I voiced that we weren’t dressed and would be leaving soon. About 4 minutes later there was another knock and i looked out the people hole and it was a man, he was trying to open the door and force his way into the room. Luckily we had all the locks locked so he was unable to. Also the sounds of the highway are loud throughout the night for anyone who’s a light sleeper!
I travel quite often and so hotels/motels I know a little about. So finding a cheap but decent hotel / motel isn't easy and is rare. With that being said , if you're needing a place just to lay your head and wash your tail-feathers Journey Inn in Marion, Ar maybe just for you. Located just 25 minutes from downtown Memphis, TN this BASIC room will not surprise you. Their desk attendant was very nice and easy to work with. They offered either smoking or non with the smoking rooms being completely by themselves in another building. No breakfast but do offer Wi-Fi that is private not an open network (we were able to play our Xbox no problem). So if you are into basic and no ementities then I found it! Check out Journey Inn in Marion, AR.
Entering the room smells so bad, in the room nothing is clean. Bed had cigarette burns and ashes. pillows had what I believe was bloggers all over them. The door was destroyed on the inside. The fridge was scrapped and broken. The bathtub had something black all over it. Their was a baggie of who knows what shuved in-between the floor boards not to mention everyone that was standing around. So we left and asked for a refund not even being their 5 minutes and they don't do that. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Waffle and Pancake House is absolutely an awesome place to eat. Best breakfast anywhere. Staff was super friendly. Pecan Banana Waffle was so very good, biscuits and gravy was just as good. The Big O'l Breakfast was amazing. We highly recommend
Great place and nicely decorated. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. I had the grilled catfish, and some shrimp. Everything was well presented and hot.
1st time using a KOA and we were very happy! Sites were a good size, clean, we booked a pull thru for 1 night. Staff (Ashaunna) was polite, kind and very helpful! This KOA even has a takeout menu with Delicious pulled pork and smoked beans...delivere
