Incredible all vegan menu, food is extremely flavorful and varied. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and very different from each other. Price is fair, setting and atmosphere is a bit cramped but bright and inviting. Wait time was reasonable, staff was kind and helpfule My picky 6-year-old son said this is the best food he's ever had in his life! He also said the ice cream tastes like magic Recommend the tomato soup and the pizza pocket from the "secret" menu. Don't forget to go next door and get the ice cream, the chocolate shake is a masterpiece.
Delicious local, organic, plant-based place for all. Really high-quality food. Our favorite was the Pizza al Taglio. That was a really unique, filling, tasty dish that would be my first choice to eat here again. The jacked up Doria was good and interesting. The ube pancake was really tasty. The mauna kea lava pasta had a nice bake on top, though was not super filling. The drinks and salad were nice. The best part was probably the tomato bisque with the buttered garlic bread on the side. I didn't know we could order the soup separately, but looking on the online menu, you can! We had a mixed bag with service. We came our first day in Kona and the gentleman working there was fantastic. The second day, I don't know if there were too many customers or something else happening. The older blonde lady working there told us to come up to her to order, so we had no table service and we had to tip before eating. Then, despite obviously sharing a meal, she only gave us one utensil for the soup. When my partner started getting frustrated at waiting so long, she checked with the kitchen and saw our order was missed due to there being multiple similar orders. She was disciplining the chef (who seemed new) pretty audibly and explained the situation to us but did not really apologize. She sent a younger blonde server who we had not met yet to apologize to us and offer a free drink or ice cream. The server also saw we were sharing and offered us an extra utensil for the meal. On our third visit, the same younger blonde lady was there and seemed to be working with even fewer staff during a pre-Thanksgiving rush yet gave us fantastic service on a pick-up order. She saved the day for the restaurant and is why I am writing this positive review. We're really happy to see a high-quality vegan restaurant right in the heart of Kona. We hope to see improvements in the service. And if you have made it this far, definitely try Journey's attached ice cream place. It's one of a kind.
Amazing brunch spot :) the ube pancakes are kind of a cross between a pancake and a crepe, but gluten free and vegan with amazing cream and fruit. The Doria is also yummy, especially the gooey cashew cheese. The focaccia bread appetizer can be made gluten free. About $20/person but expensive parking in the busy area. I wish they had gluten free pasta for the mac and cheese!
We had the Avo with hummus and The living harvest with the tomato soup, If I could I’d give them 10000 stars! Atmosphere is just amazing, cozy and the food 🤯 is just out of this world, so fresh and tasty! I’m a very picky food person and this was the best vegan food I had in my life! The staff and owners are just the sweetest people on the planet! You MUST try it, highly recommend it !! Also check it out their business next door their desserts are also insanely good! Mahalo!
The price for the single plate (no drink) was astronomical. With tip almost $30 for just this small plate of falafel. Parking is also paid. Very few seating inside. It is nice inside so I added a star for that. Falafel was hard and dry. Pita was soggy. People that worked there were nice enough but nothing extraordinary. It wasn't gross so I'm sure some people would enjoy it especially because it's a vegan place and it has a/c. I should have gone to a beach front place for the same price.
Everything was on point. Especially loved the Japanese Doria, hummus, and the tomato soup. Loved the food, and I wish I lived nearby this place. None of us were vegan, but we agreed this was one of our fav restaurants in Kona!
This restaurant is wheelchair accessible. They have tables inside and outside (wheelchairs can do both), they had some Incredible Dishes. Michael was very kind, restrooms Are avail with a key around the corner, but it’s steep so you may need two people to Push the wheelchair up, bathrooms are well kept. Great vegan Place and portions are large.
The food was delicious. The vegan ice cream (part of the shop but next door) was phenomenal. Chill environment Gluten free options

Fantastic neighborhood park with parking, clean bathrooms, and lots of grass. We walked up to the park from AliâI Drive and the walk wasn't too bad. We came on a slightly overcast morning and I would imagine the play structure will get hot on sun
This is definitely Big Island's best beach. The hike under the sun is surely worth it, but be sure to bring shoes since you will be walking on rocks for about 15/20 minutes. Once there the beach is perfect and the water is so clear. The beach at the
