The food was all amazing my wife and I stopped here a couple times while out for our anniversary. It is a small shop tucked back in the corner in a small strip of stores so don't miss it. Once inside the atmosphere is very welcoming and the first time I walked in I remember the smell of our savory dinner being finished as we entered the store a bit early to check out the sweet treats. The second time I entered to the smell of fresh baked breads! 😋 The owner and staff were both very friendly as well it is a very clean place. I don't have to eat gluten free but often do when I'm out with my wife because of her food allergens. Everything is gluten free which is great for her and the flavors and textures are on point which is good for everyone. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone gluten allergen or not. I had a "call me spicy" which was absolutely delicious. We also shared several sweet treats and breads. I specifically recommend the Madeline's and cake pops!!!
Is "magnificent" too strong a word? I don't think so. Imagine the most delicious crepe you've ever had. Now put it in a perfectly cooked, flaky waffle and eat it like an ice cream cone. It was all I could do to avoid running back and ordering another one right away. We also got a few small loaves of bread, which were equally delicious. I'm actually salivating right now as I contemplate going back there next time I'm in the area. The owner is super friendly and clearly takes great pride in his creations -- as well he should. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant.
This place is an absolute must-visit, whether you have dietary restrictions or not. If you love buttery-rich pastries and flaky-fragrant bread, this is your place. If you love delicate macaroons and sumptuous crepes, this is your place. If you want to feel like you just stepped out of a patisserie in France with the best baguette ever -- this is your place! Plus, the staff are so friendly and it's such a relief to be able to eat without fear of getting sick from foods I can't eat. I will definitely be a regular here!
I stopped by on my way home from running errands, and the gentleman working (I didn't get his name) was super friendly. I got the Mister Crunch waflle sandwich, and it was amazing! The waffle had good flavor, and the crunch of the fried cheese added a great dimension to the sandwich. I also treated myself to a peanut butter brownie. It was also very good it reminded me more of fudge than brownie, but it hit the spot. I will definitely be back. I can't wait to try their GF bread next time I'm there.
This waffle sandwich place is DELICIOUS! These waffles (some sweet, some savory) are made with love and with incredibly fresh ingredients. The waffles are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I wish there was a location near where I live, I would go ALL the time. And this restaurant is 100% gluten free which is even more incredible! Made my celiac heart so happy. Not to mention the people who own it are so kind and are clearly so passionate about serving incredible food to the community. 10/10
Stopped in to check it out on a rainy Saturday. I was greeted by a friendly and polite gentleman by the name of Jean-Charles. He counseled me on their gluten free options. I chose a brioche, which was delicious. Also tried a fragrant and delicious madeleine. Very nice person serving excellent baked goods. I don’t need gluten free, but I’ll be back for the good service and delicious products! Next time I may try a waffle. Thank you, Jean-Charles. It was a pleasure!
Love waffles but cursed with a wheat-free or gluten-free life? Then you need to check out this place. Waffles are top notch and made to order. Super friendly faces too! While there we also tried their bread and it was fabulous! The pastries are also delicious so please go check out this place.
The best gluten free bakery! I have been gluten intolerant for years now and have yet to find a bakery as good as this one! My boyfriend could not even tell it was gluten free! The owner is super sweet and personable! Any time I am in Bethesda, MD, I always have to swing by!
