Jorgenson House Luxury Bed & Breakfast - Featured Reviews (22)
Phenomenal stay. Amazing staff, I love Renda. She's the sweetest, kindest person. Amara and her serious skills make every breakfast something to look forward to. I really enjoyed the cooking lessons she offered. I can't say enough positives about my experience at the Jorgenson House. Wow!! Thank you Renda. You're wonderful, and I can't wait to visit again (next time, with my little one)
We had many adventures in Alaska but one of the experiences we enjoyed most was staying at the Jorgenson House. The house is just exquisite and Renda is the ultimate hostess— breakfast & dinner were divine, especially with the lovely garden view in the solarium, and our rooms had all the little luxuries that make you feel spoiled on vacation— a spa inspired bathroom, soft thick towels, nice linens, extra lighting where you need it, plenty of space for luggage and clothes, and extra touches like fresh made cookies and flowers throughout. We stayed in the Honeysuckle suite and it was absolutely perfect for our family of three. We all agreed that we would return to Juneau just to relax and stay at the Jorgenson House again!
Wonderful and delightful! Renda could not have been accomdating. It is beautifully decorated with a nice cozy feeling. Easy walk into Juneau. A nice deck to enjoy good weather. We were very well taken care of by Renda. We hope to return next year.
It doesn’t get better than the Jorgenson when you’re in Juneau. We felt like we were transported to the Alps. Absolutely beautiful property and what makes it even better is the wonderful owner, Renda. Our family, including 2 teenagers, stayed in the newly done 2 bedroom garden suite before our Alaskan boat trip. It was modern, clean, bright and we felt right at home. The kitchen and washer/dryer were an added bonus. The location was walking distance to town, great restaurants and Renda was full of suggestions for us. She also responded promptly to all of our little text requests like a bottle of wine for the room and soda for our kids. It is clear that the Jorgenson is a labor of love. If you’re lucky enough to come to Juneau and stay here, you will not be disappointed!
Great place. I don't see how you'll find better in Juneau. The walk to town is very pleasant and easy. I would only take a cab or drive if it was raining hard. For us it was only occasional light rain and we really enjoyed the walk. Great breakfast. Frankly, if we ever come to Juneau again we would only stay here. We had the Garden Suite and loved it.
We had our wedding at the Jorgenson House in June 2023. Renda was excellent to work with and provided helpful local recommendations. We arrived by cruise and only spent a few hours at the beautiful venue - we had a ceremony in the sunroom, and ate a meal outside. The food was delicious and our family was in awe at the intimate and bright venue. We arrived early, but Renda & team were prepared to help with final setup. Thank you!! If you are searching for a wedding spot do not hesitate - you have found the perfect team!
Jorgensen House, and the owner Renda, is the place I go when I need peace, quiet and a retreat from normal life. It never disappoints. This year, my husband and I celebrated (mumble mumble - a lot of) years of marriage. We asked Renda for a special experience, and we got it. She treated us with the same care she treats the celebrities that come to her beautiful; home. She made our week incredibly special, ||After a couple of weeks over a couple of years, she is a friend as well as the owner of the B&B. Food? 20/10, Facility 20/10, Staff 20/10. Everything exceeded expectations! Can't wait to go back, and I just got home.
Our family stayed in two separate suites at the Jorgenson House for two nights. They were beautifully kept and Renda, the host was lovely and double checked all our travel details to be sure she was taking care of everything. The breakfast was beyond spectacular and the cook even made breakfast to go bags for us due to our early flight. I highly recommend!!!
I've booked dozens upon dozens of faceless corporate hotels while traveling for work and it was refreshing to stay somewhere with actual personality and character. Silverbow is incredibly charming and intimate. After a few days I felt at home and was
This hotel always has super friendly, helpful staff. Spacious, nice rooms with kitchenette (washer/dryer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, cutlery, coffee-maker) and it's quiet, and comfortable. When we arrived the heat wasn't workin
Taku Lodge was amazing. The staff to the views. I couldn't get over the view of the glaciers. The salmon lunch was fantastic! After lunch, we got to hear all about the previous owners of the lodge. Then on to a nature walk. The whole place is an expe
This shop is real authentic! Small shop but very welcoming. I went to Alaska looking for some buds and The Fireweed Factory delivered! Solid prices for their product. Will definitely come back during my stay.
Nice & easy walking path to get here if you have decent mobility. Not ideal for limited mobility. Great signage. You can't get lost. Saw lots of small wildlife, like mice & birds. Someone reported seeing a bear, but we didn't see it. You can get so c
