Jones Beach Field 2 - Park in Wantagh - HFRH+JM, USA

This used to be a dreaded Beach due to the distance between the parking lot and the water. However this year the state parks department has installed a very helpful blue walkway from the parking lot to the water that makes walking dragging a chair rolling a cart a dream. The day that I went the sand was white and the water look like the Caribbean.

First time I've been to Field 2 in a few years, it's one of the "dirtiest" beaches I've been to in a long time. Not only is there a lot of garbage in the sand there is an outrageous amount of broken glass. Seriously, wear sandals right down to the high tide line.

Easy to get to the sand. Not as crowded as field 6.

One of my favorite places in the world. Field 2 is great!! ESPECIALLY on weekdays!
