Jon & Bon’s Yogurt Shoppe - Frozen yogurt shop in El Dorado Hills - 3385 Bass Lake Rd Ste 120, USA

This is the absolute best frozen yogurt shop! I love their froyo and customer service. The atmosphere is so peaceful and welcoming and the employees are super nice! I just wish the flavor selection was a little better.

At first glance, the prices seemed high for the size of the cups, but the staff are trained to pile the yogurt high and be very generous with the portions - I've been in the shoppe as a new staff member was being trained. They've had at least 8 flavors of yogurt every time I've visited and it's always a good mix of flavor profiles (fruity, nutty, chocolate, sorbets, etc). I haven't had the ice cream or shaved ice, but usually someone ahead of or behind me does, so I trust it's up to snuff.

Has anyone noticed how filthy this place is? Every time I visit the floors are filthy and the tables are disgusting. And there is no one else in there. Its not like they don't have time to clean. There is ice cream all over the front window from the inside of the store. Next time you go there, look around. This place is really dirty.

This was absolutely an amazing treat for our family!!! You NEED to try the CPB granola topping!!! We wound up buying an entire to-go container!

Promised six grandkids shaved ice. No other customers in the place, but they had only enough ice "for about one small." How do you run out of ice when you are next door to a supermarket? We switched to frozen yogurt and ice cream, but shouldn't have had to do so. Disappointing! 🙁

So... we wanted Yogurt Ice Cream with our favorite toppings. If I could have got that, the rating would be 4 or 5 star. In the future I’d be willing to change my review as well if things change. I feel comfortable eating ice cream out of a machine during the pandemic. But neither employees were wearing masks. Vaccinated or not (who knows) I just don’t want someone hovering over the toppings that they put on my food without a mask on. The yogurt was delicious. The place was nice. The staff was generous with portions and very friendly. But I got a 2 star yogurt experience since we couldn’t (or wouldn’t) get the toppings that would have made a 4-5 star experience. I’ll likely return for Yogurt. Its local and nice on a hot day. But I can only rate it based on what I feel comfortable eating. I hope to change this review in the future.

My family and I have been to Jon and Bon’s many times since their opening. Usually our experience has been pleasant and we are more than happy with our selections. Today, however, was disappointing. There was only one young lady working. The shoppe was busy, so I can appreciate the fact that we had to wait a little, not a problem. We ordered several yogurts to enjoy in the store and then ordered to go. We wanted 2 re gulag size snow cones. The store was out of the cups so we were okay with the portion being made in a smaller cup. What occurred tho is that the amount of ice that was dispensed in each cup was so minimal that the syrup basically melted the ice and by the time we reached the person we purchased it for about 6 minutes from the shop, the cup was pretty much half full. Snow cones I have purchased from other vendors have the ice piled pretty high since it will melt slightly. As much as I enjoy the yogurt selections etc, I will not purchase the snow cones in the future. Additional staffing I believe would be helpful not only for the customers and wait lines but the staff as well.

Great selection of toppings for yogurt. The kids had a small with two toppings and the yogurt was very good. I had the shaved ice in POG and Watermelon and it was also very good. Price was what you would expect for an occasional treat. I think our three things came out to $16.
