Great place to work. Great food. Nice atmosphere especially during the weekday when it isn’t too busy. The place is divided into two separate sections. It is really nice since you can have a nice brunch experience or choose to use it as a work cafe depending on where you are located. I used it more as a work place so my review is more on that. The Curry Chicken Salad (Chicken Waldorf) was good (I think there is better but it was good for what it was) and couldn’t really complain with the side of chips. The ambiance was nice and would highly recommend here to come work or grab some brunch.
I ordered the mt hood Benedict for breakfast. I was really looking forward to trying this dish. Pulled pork with biscuits and gravy, how could that miss. It wasn't disgusting bad, it was dry and tasteless bad. I'm sure the gravy was homemade because it was so blan. Pulled pork was dried out and also lacked any flavor. I'm left confused about how this turned out so bad. Super bummed out. Great coffee, good atmosphere.
We were looking for a good place for coffee and food one morning last week. We found JoLa Cafe and decided to give it a try. Wow… we were quite pleased. Great cappuccinos, avocado toast, and a breakfast bowl. We will be back.
Wow! I can’t wait to come back here on my next trip up to Portland! That was the best blta I have ever had! Amazing coffee and incredible service! It was busy when I got here so there was a small wait for my food but I got my coffee within minutes so this was fine and geez was the food worth the wait! Can’t wait to bring my fiancé here on my next visit! *note that I did receive more chips than this I just ate some before taking the picture 😅* Changing my review from 5 to 3 stars. Very disappointed. Hours say they close at 4 but the stop serving food at 3??? Really?
Really good food. Had the Hood River Benedict, and the pulled pork was excellent with the nicely soft egg and thick gravy. The potatoes were a nice surprise with added flaky salt. Was surprised that the barista made a good macchiato and cortado. The large space is nicely broken up into three seating sections plus a small bar and outdoor seating, so it feels like a smaller restaurant. The only downside is the lack of parking, so ride share if you can.
The food is incredible but their hospitality when you question the portion is beyond my expectations. They remade my amazing brunch bowl and gave us a coffee card for next time for the wait. Seems like today they are dealing with 2 coffee grinders down during a busy Saturday brunch time. Thank you to this small business for keeping their head up during a hard day and also keeping customers happy. The food here is insane yummy 🤤
Cute location nested in a residential area. Great food too! Casual spot for some weekend brunch. Lots of seating too.
Great place to be productive. Very spacious with many outlets to charge. Coffee is solid but nothing special. The line had only 10 people in it but it took me 30 minutes for my turn to order. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with biscuit. For the price it was very disappointing. Eggs were a bit soggy but the biscuit was the real problem. It was both stale but completely crumbled before eating due to the soggy eggs. The biscuit was also a very small hotel breakfast type biscuit. Would not order again. I would come back again but online order or just be productive until the line gets shorter.
If you go to any coffee shop in all of Portland, this has to be the one! Ryan has so much experience in coffee and it absolutely shows. He puts so much care into each cup of coffee that he makes and his latte art is phenomenal ð¥ His espresso is ab

I was in Portland for a conference and my friend told me about this lovely little coffee shop down the road from our hotel. One visit and I was completely smitten with this shop and itâs owner. The coffees were delightful and the owner, Ryan, was s
Hands down my favorite cappuccino of all time! Monte Rossa is a super casual, intimate little gem in old town Chinatown. Everything produced from the coffee drinks, to all the prepared food is of the utmost quality and made with so much love and care
The bright, clean, quiet environment of Capitola Coffee is inviting and open. I had the pour over, and my friend had a salted caramel cappuccino. The coffee was great, although I think my pour over was brewed a bit high, but I realize it's nit-pickin
I really enjoyed this coffee shop. I got lucky with an open comfy, brown leather chair and a delicious oat cappuccino. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich and opted to add the jalapeno salmon spread. Highly recommend that spread, it was amazing!!

I love this spot. They have one of the best cappuccinos in Portland. The staff is always kind, and friendly. And the tunes are always on point. Pro tip: ask for sugar crunchies on your capp. You wonât regret it!
This place is fantastic. This was our first visit. The customer ahead of us was giddy to recommend their house made vanilla syrup for our coffee drink and the âwicked awesomeâ sandwich. We arenât vegetarians but he was so insistent that we chan
